Name Your Poison of the Day

Recommended Posts

Sure, the doctor tells me I will be dead by 40 if I don't exercise more and if I don't stop eating bacon covered Texas wieners deep fried in coconut oil with MSG sprinkled on top. But I figure if the doctor knew anything of substance, he would have become a banker and made a killing on predatory mortgage lending.

So, my plan for today is to grab a beer or two and chow down on an Arby's roast beef sammich while munching on curly fries.

What's your early grave food or drink, or both, of the day?

Pork knuckle, just this lunch. A whole one, directly on the bone, with all of its grease, without vegetables. With a full bottle of apple cider. I'm ashame, and know I will sweat for this this afternoon. I don't allow myself such a Roman orgy more than once per month usually. But after all, I don't plan to see what's up on the next century.

A piece of celery :this:

That sounds very safe. Come on... don't you want to put some cheese on that? Maybe a pinch of extra cheese with pepperoni pizza?

Let's see...sometimes I begin my mornings with taylor ham, egg, and cheese on bagel, with a side of hashbrowns from either Dunkin' Donuts, or from my local bagel shop. Add a 16 oz carton of OJ, backed up by a 24 oz coffee (with cream and sugar), and you'll easily approach your daily limit of calories and cholesterol, in one easy to carry and eat meal... And that's just the start of the day!

You are making me hungry... I used to have a lot of excesses. But I've got to be in shape in following weeks, so unmanly food.

But tomorrow, I'll have double-pepperonni pizza! Because of you!

A medium well 16oz t-bone steak with pepper sauce thick cut chips (or fries) onion rings and cheesy garlic bread.

Desert has to be either double chocolate cake or a slice of lemon cheescake, both with cream. All this is washed down with a couple of bottles of bulmers cider. (In case you yanks dont know it is, its a really nice sweet cider that is served in a glass with ice, Perfect for those warm summer bbqs aswell.

Damn, i gotta go and eat!!!

Well, being a Brit...I would have to say..A full English Breakfast to start!

3 rashers of Bacon

2 sausages

a fried egg

Mushrooms / Baked Beans / Black Pudding...and some fried bread.

If this was a supper....I would wash it down with a spotted Dick Steamed Pudding and lashings of Custard....then a meander to my local watering Hole...for a few pints of Old Speckled Hen

Marvelous :drinks:

Last night I was lame and had chicken with pasta, broccoli and garlic sauce. But to make it a bit manlier, I put grated parmigiana cheese all over it!

It was pretty awesome.

I haven't decided on today yet but... I am getting some ideas from this thread. I may choose one of yours.

The most I do is pizza and a soda. I don't have a stomach that likes greasy food, that stopped around the time I hit 30. A "great" meal isn't worth hours of pain and an hour in the can.
