+Crusader Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 If the Fuji droptanks are like the tanks on the Sabre, then the pylons are a part of the tank itself and will drop with the tank. Means there should be a 2nd set of pyolons for use with bombs etc. Just saying.. 2
+Wrench Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 don't know ... not enough data on the net, and I can't find the Famous Airplane of the World on the T-1. Pretty sure it's a different design.
+Crusader Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 (edited) Something new.. they have split pylons https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:T-1A_(13610304925).jpg https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:T-1B_Ashiya_(21928049760).jpg EDIT one more, close-up https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:JASDF_T-1A(15-5825)_right_drop_tank_right_front_view_at_Hamamatsu_Air_Base_Publication_Center_November_24,_2014.jpg Looks like an adapter for the Sabre tank.. to make it fit the new wing profile, id say. Edited October 11, 2020 by Crusader
+Wrench Posted October 11, 2020 Posted October 11, 2020 good, cause I'm not going to bother Veltro to make another tank/pylon. On this version, the pylon will remain on the wing !!
