templates brother. layers just like a skin. set em up, then while still tedious they go by faster.

my serial nums are usually  about  58 8 minutes of the process per skin. 3 of that is going back and fixing something cause i went through too fast and didnt pay attn

one does wonder if you can get an actual functional arabic font for word. everything i can use in word  also works fine in GIMP

Ohhh, well, i use Paint.NET and take like one hour for 100 numbers, i have an arabic font and, basically do a lot of copy/paste with Snag It help, and yes, still tedious LOL

if you have experience with photoshop, GIMP is now fairly similar. if you dont have experience with either, GIMP, while free, is not very intuitive for the beginner.

what i would do in the event of what your doing is have a template with the 4 groups. each groups would have a 0-9 layer. then its a matter of turning each layer in the group on and off as you work the needed numbers

it takes some time to line up at first and set up. but it flies once youre good. and if youre smart enough to keep the template (i used not to be) then its on hand for future use

and with your preference in aircraft, i forsee alot of arabic number in your future

It's better not to ask
Sometime, things are not what they seem. More often than you think.
The control tower has nothing, invisible scratches on the paint, no-one will notice.
I could definitely explain. It's classified you know.
You moved it since the last time I went, don't you ?
Metal junk value has skyrocketed lately, we'll sure have a good deal.
I'll pay for the cleaning. Send me the bill.
Frankly, I don't remember.

very nice. (note to self, stay in the 90s, no 50th TFW Block 25s:lol:)

meanwhile, another skin i said needed minimal work. honestly the original was the best of the Team Viper ADFs.

aaaand then i went and nitpicked.

it still didnt need as much to improve. fuselage artwork on both sides. adjustment to the tail, as Puerto Rico ANG actually did different colors for the different flights. but i still like how this one came out

thank you for sharing. seen that sheet, decided not to use it

my reference folder (pics i found useful). this isnt counting AMARC confirmations i didnt save (theres several i did)

pics.thumb.jpg.f81a15e8553040969e7d6666da7b3b0f.jpg

and the spreadsheet i keep it organized in. now color coded!

excel.thumb.jpg.6534ddd833d3b734569213a3f65c5c49.jpg

the reddish brown one is the only one i could not photo confirm a color for. f16.net has proven a reliable enough resource that generally if it says it was there i believe it. with only a little reading between the lines and smaller grain of salt than most sites

whats really bad is that i can tell you that photo is between 1993 and mid 1995 based on 709 in the back ground having red stripes. she went to AMARC with yellow

finally got this one most of the way done.  if anyone has pics of 81-0755, 81-0757 and 81-0759 with the white numbers, it would be appreciated. otherwise, got 17 nailed down, and the rest are just blankimg00084.thumb.JPG.81d69ab8b3a8632dca25df5e3fd1ae21.JPGimg00086.thumb.JPG.4580adf8f90a10329c8a4cba2e6c81c5.JPGimg00087.thumb.JPG.1fb122c27f017973a3bef207d3eb5fb1.JPG

Hello everyone, I finished the F/A-18 and now is ready to rollout. I want to present my new project so far: CF-15M, the Canadian Eagle.

Please, note that I'm not familiar with other countries, so, ANY type of feedback is highly appreciated...
