And then this new damage - canvas ripped to shreds by rounds fired from behind, flat over the pilot's head into the wing! This is top-most realistic looking damage! Superb work done, gents! Quote
Hellshade Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Utterly amazing work. The blended airfield is fantastic. The clouds, lighting and plane models are all superb. And the damage models? You have certainly outdone yourself gentlemen. I would never have imagined anywhere near that much detail being put into the damaged aircraft. Might I ask what the graphic setting that the terrain is set at? Are those 4s or 5s, I presume? Hellshade Quote

Please, please, please don't ruin the immersion of all of that incredible scenery, terrain, aircraft models and damage modeling (not to mention the incredible flight models and improved AI) by having engines explode and fly out of the plane. It makes my poor skin crawl every time I see that happen. Takes me right out of the immersion because it's just so out of place. Of course, you have my money no matter what. Hellshade Quote

If, however, I had never heard of OFFand saw it for sale with that shot of the two Dr1s over the airfield as a cover I would want it without knowing anything else about it. Quote

HumanDrone Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 The reason I commented on the skies in particular is the 2nd, 3rd and 4th screenshot. Particularly in the 2nd and 3rd, I've seen that effect when flying - at 10,000 ft or thereabouts, the air gets a lot clearer and you have that layer of foggier stuff below. Glory! The air must be getting mighty thin for some of these guys! Sooo looking forward to P4! Quote
