Well, other than the EF2000, the F-16, Mirage2000, F-5Es and (prepares to run away before being raped by turkey fanatics) the F-15s!

 

Cool camo, indeed. I remember seeing a VF-1 picture with the ferris scheme and it looked quite badass

you forgot the mig-29

Well if you want to talk agility (the ability to change from one state to another quickest) then its not the F-14A. Although it has a small turn radius at slow speed (due to its almost straight wings ) its roll rate is painfully slow for the same reason.

No political pissing contest please! The F-14A(M) is plenty maneuverable and everybody recognizes that so, but compared to gen 4,5+ fighters with modern FBW...well, the pilot will have his hands full. The news of R-73 integration is at least very good for the IRIAF pilots. I am going to try to make this Asia Minor II skin btw, interesting departure from the blue-toned air superiority camos of the F-14 and MiG-29...

The drone stuff is quite cool indeed, i´m just saying that, agility wise, others i mentioned are superior. And the MiG-29 too, thanks Guifon. I am fully aware of the might and ingenuity of a nation whose traditional dominance bloats the sun in the skies of their enemies, while magnanimously letting Israel exist and such. Jeez, i was saying that is was a cool paint scheme, you Iranians are quite sensitive.

 

 

But the Tomcat is not the most agile fighter, and it isn´t even Iran´s fault. It is Grumman´s fault that it is, if anything. But i like it and will be the first thing i´ll try when the mod is out. Btw, did Osprey Iranian Tomcats PDF files get thru? I think i got them somewhere

They were certainly used in first stages of the war in bombing and strafing IRAN bases. As the book stated.

 

OOB at ACIG.org dont report them, but include only an OCU unit.

 

Will do after the MiG-21MF the Hunter skins....

The Iranian F-4E's all equipped with the Aero-3B launchers that can carry 2 sidewinder on each
