A definete goodbye to Thirdwire.

Hi Fellow enthousiasts!

It is not the best of news, although I guess I wasn't contributing a thing in a long while...

I have made up my mind and I have come to the conclusion to say farewell to all

things Thirdwire.

Almost all reasons I can name are related in the 'Real Life ' sphere, and some

are related to the TW game and its present state.

Too much has happened in the last year, and I am trying to mold all the pieces

into something which will be a new life. As an armed forces veteran I need to

focus more on all my shortcomings and its solutions.

All remaining time I will invest in being the best dad my son can get. Despite

all the cr*p I lived through he deserves that.

Remaining 'me-time' is scarce and some things got to go. TW is one of them.

There is much more I like better now than the TW franchise. In all games

I play I expect progression and some evolution. When evolution stops,

decay starts. therefore TW is outta here.

I will periodically check on CA and see how you all are doing.

Thank you all for being the fine community I was allowed to be a part of!

Muesli

Absolutely put your family first!

But if any combat flight sim is compatible with little to no free time, it is the SF series.

Choose a single mission or fly one campaign mission, start near target, fight for a few minutes, hit "ESC" when you are done.

It would be real easy to squeeze in at least one flight a week, maybe one nightly if all your game hardware is already connected/ready for game play.

Of course, if you quit cold turkey for a while, you may find that if and when you do come back to the SF series, you will enjoy its strengths more and hardly notice its flaws... at first.

I think trying to to do the best for your child is what makes you a great parent

hopefully in due time you'll have some "me" time and that's important as well as giving up stuff to take care of your family

hope to see you here from time time

take care and good luck my friend!
