IIRC there was a post with a Phantom with the RIO cockpit covered with paint so it became a single seater, cannot find it the post again, but I'm thinking in something similar for a two seater and need to know how it can be done. If it can be done at all.

Thanks.

in sf2, you can't put a decal tga over the glass tga. it just don't work no more

so, like Russ showed, you'd acutally need a new physical model

There is a possible work around, but it would take some exact modeling. Destroy the canopy or canopy glass depending on the aircraft with a ini edit. Replace it with the canopy mesh you want with Fake Pilot. It won't open. And you need someone to create the addon in Max. If I get to needing a break from my current project, I give it a try on a F-4?

I created one a while back with the rear canopy painted over, I think it was for one of the UK versions, the rear canopy entry was removed in Max to stop it opening and I removed the co pilot entry from the aircraft data INI.

Stratos,

Is this the post you are referring to?  Down toward bottom of page.

Sundowner's F-4M 2000 with back canopy cover + ravenclaw_007's F-4E skin + Wrench's F-110 Wraith bits + my glue = a single-seat F-4.

I would love to have this done to the F-4E.
