Skyviper Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 We were just emailing each on his birthday and talking about about house renovations and kids in Feb. I just......... This fucking sucks. RIP my friend. Whoa! Those are the ones that get to me. Just like that. ( like that news anchor too everything is okay and then bam) Damn I'm shocked to see this myself. He was a good guy. R.I.P
+FastCargo Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 "To fly west, my friend, is the one final check we all must take." - Author Unknown Always wanted to sit down with him for a beer and swap flying stories about the Deuce, F-5, and Beale AFB. I regret not ever getting the chance. He was a rarity even in the flying world...a U-2 pilot. He got to see the Earth from a viewpoint 99.99% of us never will. You have earned your rest, sir. FC 1
+JediMaster Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 (edited) Damn it. Jug was a genuine Good Guy. Not a mean bone in his body, and he deserved many more years. A real blow. I just looked and he was last here on March 8th. I was wondering as I'd not seen him in awhile... Edited April 3, 2015 by JediMaster
macelena Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Farewell Sir, will be missed, and not forgotten. RIP
+pcpilot Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 RIP Jug, A CombatAce stalwart and all around good guy.
commander Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I've been Away from here for a while. I come back to this sad news. RIP Jug
Jarhead1 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 (edited) I had the honor and privilege of meeting Tim when I was stationed in Indian Head Maryland back in 2009. He was working in Va or DC, I cant remember, but he came over one afternoon n met my Ex wife n kids n sat n talked n ate n had a great time. Very nice man. I guess the good Lord saw that Tim did everything required and asked of him here on earth and felt it was time to call him home. Sad to hear of his passing. Definitely will be missed. Cant believe he is gone. RIP my friend. Edited April 23, 2015 by Jarhead1
firehawkordy Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Sorry to read this after I've been away for so long. Jug was one of the first guys to make me feel at home here when MJ had the keys to the asylum. He'll be sorely missed.
MAKO69 Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Great guy, great contributer, great stories, I had a few conversations with him via I'm and e-mails. I will tilt a wobbly pop in his honor tonight.
