Ok, deep strike mission with 8 Tonkas (2 were lost).

4 x (2 ALARMS, 8 free falls)

2 x (2 ALARMS, 8 BL755)

2 x (4 ALARMS)

I wonder on ALARM warhead, mass of explosives is correct, but I don't like numbers of kills (it's too high I think).

Some (almost) historical loads for Desert Storm.

1) Zeppelin tanks are under skinning so I used 1500 ltrs.

2) They very rare (or maybe never?) used ALARMs under wings. Everybody will probably load them anyway. I can leave em in loadouts or remove. What would you like ?

So ...

2 or 3  Paveway II

img00001.thumb.JPG.8359be9ab8c86523855c4931f356c010.JPG

and 4 x CBU-87

If they were not the common case, I'd like them removed, or at least not set as a default loadout. You can always add a loadout something like [STRIKE_ALARM]. It won't override the stock loadout but it will be available to users using the mission editor.

I thought so. I'll do historical loadouts and you can always add ALARMs if you want.

This way :

Sounds like a plan to me, let me decide because in some of my "fantasy" missions you just might wanna pack ALARMs.

All 120+ ALARM missiles fired during the first Gulf War were fired from the under fuselage stations. The original wiring was for the inboard wing pylons until they realised they'd have nowhere to hang the Hindenburg's.....

Side of pylon mounting came later.

So basically the Brits - and possibly the Italians & Germans too - got into the Wild Weasel game ;-).  Nice!
