  1. Allen, Did you add the CFTs as weapons? FastCargo
  2. Well, remember what this is for...less-than-lethal crowd control. The idea is to hopefully defuse a situation BEFORE bullets start flying. FastCargo
  3. It's essentially a electro-magnapult. I've ridden roller coasters that use the same principle. Read Robert Heinlein's "Moon is a Harsh Mistress" as a fictional example. FastCargo
  4. That's some fairly in depth stuff considering this is supposed to be a 'lite sim' campaign engine. Thanks for the info! FastCargo
  5. The TW engine is actually quite flexible. And if you're looking to get IP banned, you're starting out quite nicely. Your next post had better be an apology for your rude behavior. Only warning. FastCargo
  6. Assuming you're talking about WoI, apparently, the MiG-23s are not a flyable state by the player, only by the AI. Hadn't even attempted to deal with it yet, to tell you the truth. FastCargo
  7. If I knew what you guys were talking about, I'd give a damn. As I don't know, I don't care. Knock it off, both of you. Stick to helping the OP with the weapons issue. If you can't do that, don't post. Only warning. FastCargo
  8. Close. When I was experimenting with trying to make a satellite target (for a ASAT missile) I did exactly what you described. Ground objects are built with the 0,0,0 coordinate at ground level. So you could make a model that was lots of meters above that...which would make it appear to 'float' or 'fly'. Therefore, making a airborne carrier type model would be easy with the proper model and ini values. It would just only 'fly' at the same altitude. Problems with this approach include you could only land 'on top' of the deck. Maybe rig something like a BSG setup, where you fly into a tunnel. The other problem is that attempting to destroy such a model with weapons would only work with unguided weapons. Guided weapons will attempt to target the 'base' of such a structure....where there is no visual model. Which is why I gave up on the 'Satellite'. Speaking of satellite targets, the ASAT is back on track with the release of WoI. New code has shown up which gives me another way of making a 'satellite'...already done tests. Just gotta figure out why the guided missile is so inaccurate... FastCargo
  9. (Raises Hand)... What's a STL check? FastCargo
  10. PIGHUNTA69, Uh, take a look what forum you're in. Probably not the ThirdWire series of games... FastCargo
  11. Ah...a 'steampunk' scenario? I'm still bummed we haven't had a good follow up to a Crimson Skies beginning... FastCargo
  12. Didn't I say that? Okay, okay, so 'differential surfaces' sounds really fancy...I was trying to sound smart... FastCargo
  13. No problem. Though we aren't all warm and fuzzy at times, we do like to help. We used to be 'old grumpy guys'....ask Viggen Anyway, please use the search function and the knowledge base. You'll find a lot of answers if you have questions... And if not, feel free to ask us in the community. FastCargo
  14. Why? The F-22 doesn't have one either...the idea is using differential surfaces to achieve the same effect. FastCargo

    Wings over...

Nah, Wings over My Hammy...developed in cooperation with IHOP. FastCargo
  16. Ultramax, Since you are new here, let me give you some advice that will help with your questions. Use the search function...I can almost guarantee someone has asked your question before. Oh, and a point about tact...considering that almost all modders do this stuff on their spare time...it's sort of rude to assume something isn't done because of oversight. FastCargo
  17. Actually, it doesn't really exist. I noticed the Ark Royal was very similiar in layout, so I repained the deck and...instant Foch. But no longer necessary now that the MF put out a Clem... FastCargo
  18. Exactly...she's hawt! FastCargo
  19. Yep, modded the 1979 WOE campaign (and created a 1993 WOE campaign) that included the following for carrier ops: USN - F-14s, A-6, F-18, EA-6B, A-7 USMC - AV-8A/C off the Tawara RN - Harrier FRS1 and FRS3. And the F-4N (?) off the Ark Royal France - Super Entardards and F-8FN off the Foch (and soon to be modded to the new Clem)... Works like a champ...though some of the legs are LONG... FastCargo
  20. Don't make me come over there! FastCargo
  21. The B-2 is in beta right now. Flyable, but has some issues. FastCargo
  22. I have no idea. The shot you see that I made was the GermanyCE terrain imported into my WOI install. Not sure why you're having problems. Anyone got any ideas? I haven't seen the 'buried' runway thing either. FastCargo
  23. Well, I fly aircraft for real and if I bounce in WOI, it's because I've hit too hard (usually 'structural damage' hard). So, if your landings aren't good, you'll bounce. If they are, you won't. FastCargo
  24. Carrier ops are fine on my end. Sure it's not the terrain? Ahhh...reminds me of my days in the Bone... FastCargo
