does anybody have a picture from the rear of a LAU-68A or B/A launcher ??? i have this one from an early LAU-68A/A pod but non of the LAU-68A or B/A this is the rear of a LAU-68D/A and a LAU-131A an this is how the LAU-3A looks like this is a picture showing the early and the next generation of an M157 rocket launcher ( M157A/A and M157A ???? ) i just like to know how the rear of a LAU-68A would look like , i have the same problem with the LAU-32 / LAU-61 / LAU-59

as Nygthfall mention above the pointed cover may be for the early version of the LAU-3A , i was thinking to make the AERO_7D with this pointed cover with a StartYear=1954 and Mk4 rockets this way i dont have to add an other LAU-3 to the game , as for the color i like this one on the FJ-4B , i just would like to know if that AERO_7D was used by the USAF at all - here are the 2.75 inch rocket section from the NATOPS F-8D&E manual , it mention the 2.75 inch Mk4 "Mighty Mouse" rockets as well -
-
Thanks but i´m looking for NAVY Aircraft Weapons Delivery Manuals not for the flight manuals here are the LAU-3A for the Navy and a update for the previous released LAU-3 for the USAF i made some minor changes - StartYear=1957_____________for LAU-3A - Availability=2 (common)______for all LAU-3 just overwrite the existing pods LAU-3 update.7z

i finaly got a manual of a Navy fighter showing some of the weapons used ( NATOPS F-8D&E ) listed in this manual are the AERO-7D and LAU-3A/A i will make a LAU-3A mod for Navy use only with white colored pods if anybody has a NAVY weapons delivery manual from A-4 , A-6 , A-7 , F-4 or F-8 please let me know i urgently need one of this manuals or if you know where one of this manuals is for sale give me please a hint

First to fire 156 rockets from an AERO 7D 19 round 2.75" Mighty Mouse rocket launcher (pictured on F9F-8 Cougar BuNo 141050 with a frangible nose cone) is LCdr. Irving Applebaum (left ). Steven Little (right) is head of the NOTS section that developed the Mighty Mouse launcher, Armitage Field, China Lake, 22 June 1956 it looks like the Navy used the Aero 7D from 1956 up to the early 70ies

i renamed the LAU-3 folders , this way the pods can be more easy selected , and i added all LAU-10 pods and rockets NOTE: you have to DELETE all existing LAU-3 and LAU-10 folders before you install this new pods LAU-10 and LAU-3.7z includet are : - LAU-3A twin and single mount , green camo - LAU-3C twin and single mount , green camo - LAU-3D twin and single mount , gray camo - LAU-10A Triple , twin and single mount , white color - LAU-10C Triple , twin and single mount , white color and gray camo - LAU-10D Triple , twin and single mount , white color and gray camo - 2.75 inch Mk40 rockets - 5 inch Mk16 rockets - 5 inch Mk71 rockets the AttachmentType for the LAU-3 pods are still USAF ( i may let it this way) the AttachmentType for the LAU-10A / C are USN,NATO for the LAU-10D USN only , the reason why i add the NATO to the A an C is that i found in the F-4F weapons delivery manual the A launchers with Mk16 rockets if you find anything wrong let me know
-
Thanks for the quick test - the twin-pods do only have 32 rockets that is the maximum the game allows thats why there are 3 rockets on each pod missing - the tactor beam is strange , can you find out what particular rocket or rocket pod is causing it - the attachment type USAF is from the original made by the Mirage Factory i just keept what was there
-
this are all the LAU-3 i have finish so far , please let me know if you find anything wrong or if you have suggestion about color or anything else NOTE: to install delet all existing LAU-3 versions from your mod folder LAU-3.7z includet are LAU-3A / LAU-3C / LAU-3D with or without nose and tail fairings (covers) and all the MK40 rockets i have finish so far the single LAU-3A is the replacement for the TW launcher with a white camo , i still look for a way to get some more LAU-3 launchers with a white camo in to the game if you go to the weapon selection in game you will find the LAU-3 with cover right below the LAU-10 and the LAU-3 without cover on the bottom of the rocket launcher list try them and let me know what you think about it , by the way i changed the color of the YellowSmoke.tga to a more yellowish appearance all effects work fine on my game

so would it be better to remove the long warheads from the Air Force and Navy launchers ??? i was thinking about that all the time about the LAU-3C and D are there any pictures of them available ??? i was thinking to add a LAU-3C in grey color with Mk66 rockets but i can not find any pictures to support that
