  1. (Minor treadjack, but I can't resist) Some thoughts regarding dealing with customer support : - If you notice an issue with a product you just purchased, report it IMMEDIATELY. It shouldn't take more than five minutes to do so (unless the company gives a damn about customer support and has not set up sufficient capacity to handle all customers in a timely fashion), but you got to understand that in our mobile world most people won't accept the statement "I haven't had time to call you yet, but this issue is very important!" - If you get the impression that the customer support agent you're in contact with is unable (for what ever reason) to help you, request (and by that I mean demand) to speak a supervisor. - If you call about an issue, make sure that they provide you with a ticket number. Yes, ticket systems ought to have the feature that they generate an e-mail notification, but thus you can be sure that the ticket has indeed been recorded in their system - No matter how skilled you are with computers, do not try fix an apparent hardware (or software tbh) issue yourself. Getting back to the actual issue, I hope the matter will be resolved in your favor.
  2. Happy B-Day!
  3. This poster is made of awesome.
  4. Do other Steam games start?
  5. Happy B-Day!
  6. It's still a multinational program, not to mention that the Typhoon is partly built in the UK. And IMHOI can't imagine Argentina being able to afford them. But then again ( and don't take that personally) most of the what if stuff is unrealistic anyway, so it's not worth the debating the probablity of such deals actually happening...
  7. The 50 Million are just for the spare parts, as the purchase of the aircraft and their engines isn't finalized yet. Then again I doubt that this won't be an issue as keeping the Harriers stored costs money as well.
  8. Looking forward to those DLCs, I just wished Siltherine had not attached the 1.04 patch to each of them, as the download from their source was pretty slow and I already had installed that update...
  9. I'll agree with the latter two, as they are basically THE respective Merlin and Griffon Spitfire models. The Mark 20s Spitfires are a bit tricky, but I have to agree with the selection of the Mark 21, as Spits shouldn't have a bubble canopy, regardless of the advantage they offer...
  10. Not many surprises left when teh F-14 sim is released, but hey, RF-8G!
  11. Sad sight...
  12. Heh. I would be twitching if TK would make a RF-8....I've got to say though that I still prefer the TMF Sader. Now, I've I could only find that Clemenceau carrier...
  13. The engine may be the same, but each Sim has its own set of unique aircraft which aren't available with the other titles

    Killer Elite

I haven't seen Killer Elite yet, but to be honest the movie has taken a huge hit for me due to its poster... Clive Owen is supposed to be a hardcore professional...but look how he handles his handgun...
  15. Thx for the info.
  16. Good news everyone! My computer just died apparently. Good thing I wasn't completely stupid and backed up recently. Wheee! :/

  17. That has nothing to do with it either.
  18. Shot in the dark is about right... MinBaseSize=SMALL means that the aircraft can operate from any SMALL, MEDIUM or LARGE airfield. No point in changing that.
  19. FYI: Your SF2 install has nothing to do with it...I have the same issue here as well. Strange thing is, I have had the aircraft in it since I migrated to SF2. Furthermore, when you select the Typhoon for a mission and replace it with stock aircraft they still start up in the air. Some more testing: Picked a "known good" aircraft, swapped them for teh Typhoons....they launch from the airfield, AI can do that with no issue. Same when using the Mission Editor.
  20. It's a good Panzer General remake...more missions and a larger campaign would have been nice, though
  21. Rawrrr!
