  1. I can only begin to imagine the corrosion inspections those 60s went through, and how much worse it'd have been if those were Chinooks.
  2. Yes that is my reconnaissance variant, the SF 37.
  3. Love me my coffee made of snow! So many different flavors to choose from! And we get two texture options for a fresh cup of snow too! Sticky or powder.
  4. When you consider how long many of the people in the community here have been here, I'd for sure say CombatAce is addicting if not an addiction itself.
  5. I'm waiting to see when this is going to start impacting Army Aviation. As far as I know, we're the only aviation asset our country has that wasn't raped by these cuts.
  6. Thank you for reorganizing the library!
  7. Found a picture of the USS Midway carrying aircraft that had belonged to the South Vietnamese Air Force from Thailand to Guam. Pretty cool how most of the F-5s and A-37s are parked on the bow like they would have been, as though it was a carrier wing.
  8. The f*** is wrong with some people?
  9. The F-21. It's my stress relief jet.
  10. Because that'd still have a coastline wouldn't it? Plus the mountains are important to the Swiss defense and it's fun to dogfight in.
  11. 1998: As support for Boris Yeltsin’s presidency dwindles, a radical communist uprising quickly gains power across Russia, and sits in the Kremlin by July. The new communist government quickly begins to lash out at the west claiming they’re responsible for the collapse of the Soviet Union. They vow to regain what was lost and more. 1999: As Russian tanks begin to steamroll into Central Europe following a series of Spetznaz infiltrations and surprise air attacks, crippling pre-positioned defenses and early warning systems across Europe, a Guards Regiment of Russian tanks accidentally crosses into Swiss territory. With new orders directly from the Kremlin to press on into Switzerland, the tiny neutral country scrambles to defend itself. Hey it’s hard to think of a scenario to involve the Swiss in! But denissoliveira’s Swiss Mirages are crying for a campaign. I’ve got America Northwest standing in for a pseudo-Switzerland. Going to start the process of renaming targets and target locations. May add a few more if I’m up to it. Only issue I can think of is the ground war is going to look messed up with tanks on those mountains. Anyway, here’s the plane list: Swiss: F/A-18C/D F-5E/F (Sharknose and regular? Need F-5 expert’s advice) Mirage IIIS/RS Hawk Mk.66 Russia Su-27 MiG-29 Su-25 MiG-27 Su-24M Su-24MR And yes, I'm actually going to finish this one! Depending on the success of this one I may do a 1989 one to include the Hunters and Vampires (yikes!)
  12. I'm really happy about this. When I was younger my dream job was to be an Eagle driver at Otis. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see them this summer.
  13. Thanks Wrench! Been needing the Nimrod for a project
  14. Brilliant ideas are meant to be acted upon. Starting now!

  15. Such a shame. Hopefully she'll put up a good fight so as to say "You're going to miss me when I'm gone."
  16. That's awesome. Killer whales are pretty badass.
  17. Eagerly, eagerly awaiting the Mirage 4000. But I can continue to wait. Looks great.
  18. Thank you. Been looking forward to this for a long time. Also watched Thirteen Days not too long ago, coincidentally.
  19. Hey Jon, I'll update the F-CK-1's inis to SF2 standard so people with access to it will have a more useable aircraft, if you'd like.
  20. It must be a DLC install, as I've got SF2V.
  21. Great campaign, but I haven't got B-57s or Skyraiders as flyables. Maybe a bad install?
  22. Had a lot of friends and family in Boston yesterday. Everyone's safe. Hope the f***er who did this gets captured soon.
  23. CCIs on Chinooks suck

  24. Agreed. I've already got plans for it.
