Google redirects me to another URL
Fubar512 replied to wenkman's topic in Site Support / Bug Reports / Suggestions
This is not a virus in of itself, but a redirect on the server level, as SFP1Ace stated. It has effected my smart phone, as well as several different PCs at my job site. So far, it's has not dropped any trojans or viruses onto any of the systems that I use, most likely because of their level of protection. -

Since it's not a stock sound event, where one can simply replace the .wav file, it requires in entry in the soundlist.ini file. You first need to extract a copy of that fille from the flightdata.cat, and place it it the flight folder. Then, add the gun sound entry twice, first in numerical order on the list (where XXX would be the next entry in the numerical sequence like so): SoundFileXXX=GAU8 And then at the bottom of the file, you need to add the sound event parameters: [GAU8] Priority=NORMAL Looped=TRUE NumBuffers=4 3DSound=TRUE DopplerEffect=FALSE MaxDist=1000.000000 MinDist=50.000000 InsideConeAngle=360 OutsideConeAngle=360 ConeOutsideVolume=0

Julhelm's HandyMax tanker...

They're not visible in this image, as is the open-array radar antenna. But they are there. -
HandyMax Tanker View File HandyMax Tanker by Julhelm This model represents a "HandyMax" sized tanker, so named due to the fact that their gross displacement of less than 60,000 dwt, and their LOA of less than 200 meters imbues them with a level of versatility that's almost unheard of in today's maritime industry. This model was designed and optimized for SF2:NA, and that means Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. At the very least it requires the latest SF2 series patch for its systems and DX10 visual effects to work properly. To install this package, simply place the folders located inside the .ZIP archive into the mod folder of whichever SF2 title you desire the ship to appear in. The supplied sound effects will require editing of the soundlist.ini file in order to work. This model package also includes an experimental effect, which will be most evident at night or under similar low-light conditions. Consider it an Easter-egg! Credits: Model and textures by Julhelm. Merry Christmas to all!

Hopefully, the pilot will garner enough viewership to change their minds.

Actually, I suspect that this "person" has yet to grasp the light-scattering effects of an atmosphere, and why the "back side" of objects facing away from a source of light (in our atmospere) are still visible. Now, if they have an issue understanding that concept, simple celestial mechanics (orbits and the rotation-rates) would be well beyond their comprehension.

The NEW Sabres

That may have been applied during the Korean war, or shortly afterwards (A-models had slatted wings to begin with, if they had upgraded that model at a later date, why not use the slatted F-40 wing?). Adding the all-flying tail would involve rebuilding the entire tail cone, as aircraft so-equipped have a rather noicable fairing to allow for the hydraulic actuators and their attendent plumbing.
