Yeah it's hard to say, there's prop efficiency entry which I don't understand how it works and really messes up my understanding on how to set up engines for props...

1 517 499,5 BHP would be waaaaay too much lol it's watts, so 1 517 499,5 W means 1517,5 kW wich in turn makes it 2035 HP which is correct ;)

Mirrors and TV screen cut fps in half...it is expected that such effects would cut performance but not in half...in my tests this is the order of performance killers: 1. Mirrors 2. Mirrors 3. Mirrors 4. Shadows on high/Horizon distance

I think it's an anomaly, don't know how well are propeller drive planes and piston engines simulated in SF2... Did you try with stock P-51 for example?

Try exporting the heightmap as bitmap and edit it in photoshop, I have no idea why that happens but that's how I used to solve those things...it made me completely f**** crazy so I know what you are going through...

I didn't try them for the Hornet, had too many versions so I decided to skip it, atleast for initial release Do they show in the scene? Because I do know they are doable, Julhelm did it for his Raptor cockpit and I had a small experiment that worked too
