  1. It was a little bit difficult to find the problem. It seems to be that the runway of Bagram is not 100% flat. Perhaps the soviet ingenieurs had a little bit to much wodka in their bodies when they built this base :moil: The easiest way to fix the problem is to change your options from hard landing to normal landing. It should help. And for the next version of the terrain i promise to flatten the runway.
  2. To answer the SF2 question: Sorry i cant help you, i have not this game. Unfortunatly is expanding of a map not possible. It would be completly new start to build such a terrain. And to be honest, i have at the moment not the time to do ist.
  3. If you have to attack targets in villages you will face also civilists there. I think with the hit on the Madrasa you will have made to much "collateral damage". Its like in real Afghanistan, you must be aware on civilists. And it is difficult to decide between taliban warriors and civilists (in real life and in this terrain) With the CAS missions in mountains: I will see that i can find a way.

  6. I updated the terrain to level 0.6. *The number of target areas is now increased from 65 to 90. *Mazar i Sharif and Kundus Air Base are now operational. Targets in the north area are also set. *Shot down and taliban captured helis as groundtargets . *New taliban with donkey as target for armed recon missions
  7. Mod funktioniert so weit ganz gut. Sohnemann löscht wie ein Wilder Feuer in den Vogesen und freut sich wie wahnsinnig wenn ein Wasserabwurf die Kühltürme von einem Kraftwerk zerlegt. Sind also noch ein paar Feinheiten zu bügeln bevor das Teil ins Netz gestellt werden kann.
  8. I'm still working on this mod and i would say a first Beta could be released in a not so far future. As already said its a mod of FE. i use my old Vogesen terrain, its nice moutainous. I have now a Z-37 Cmelak argocultural airplane as firefighter, a mod of the O-1e for SAR and Parachute missions and a C-130 mod for Parachute and firefighter missions. Spillone sent me a A-26 firefighter and his waterdrop effect. The only problem is that i made a german language mod, so that i will have to retranslate into english for release. I hope that my english is good enough for it.

  10. Ist jedenfalls ein tolles Teil. Ich habe mal nachgegrast und muß meinen Beitrag von oben zurücknehmen. Ich habe da den Su-34 Prototypen und die Gorbi Story mit der Su-33 Trainervariante durcheinandergebracht. Mein Fehler.

  12. Tolles Teil. Su-27KUB war so weit ich weiß eine Fehlbezeichnung. Als das Biest 1989 Gorbatschow auf den Träger Kusnetzow vorgestellt wurde hat man es so bezeichnet. Mit ner flachen Nase wäre es eine Su-34 aka Su-32FN.

  14. Nukes are senseless. Kills the civilists while the military capability is astonishingly not really harmed. Its only for people without balls in the trousers.
  15. I guess the russians will get the deal. The IAF used MiG's since decades. The indian industry built them in licence. The F-16 has the problem that Pakistan, Indias old well loved enemy, use it. The Eurofighter is to expensive for his capabilities. And the Gripen ...? I dont think that Sweden can push it so like the russians push the MiG.

  17. Made 8 F-4E hitting the ground while flying the MiG-17F. Its a AI problem, not a problem of the planes.
  18. Its true what Wrench said. The PF was a pure interceptor plane, so no air to ground weapons were available. But if you want you could mod the plane to carry bombs or rockets. Its easy.
  19. Open the file and look for all HeightMapScale= entries. Perhaps there are also other settings then 5.0000 Change it to 1.00000 or even 0.000000000 till you has the result you wish. Simple trial and error methode.
  20. Open file Vogesen_data.ini with notepad editor press CTRL+H look for HeightMapScale=5.000000 replace it with HeightMapScale=1.000000 Thats it.
  21. The F-22 is a nice toy. Its true. But do you need it really? Its the same with the Eurofighter, is it really usefull in our time? I think no. What we need are planes like the A-10 or Su-25. Rough, ugly, but high efficient killers. We need helicopters, we need better and more reliable systems for the man on the ground. Because only the man with the rifle in the hand can hold and secure a territory. I think a lot of people should read the old book of General von Clausewitz. Perhaps they would not invest our money in expensive and senseless toys, but in usefull weapons. If you see the decision in that way you will understand that the cut of the Raptor is the right way.

  23. With other words the US gave the iraqis a short hint to buy american weapons. Its also a way to deal with the crisis.
  24. Yes its true, but it also depend on the ground objects. The stock buildings use not very detailed skins. If you want high res buildings it will harm the FPS rate. Also if you place heavy Flak and SAM you will face this problem.
  25. You can put the jets into FE without problem. But to bring the terrain from FE to the other sims is impossible. Thatswhy i make the civil mod on FE basic and not in WOE.
