The "Gefecht der verbundenen Waffen" (combined arms) was a military tactic, which was developed by the germans in the 1930th. During the Cold War both german Armies were masters of this kind of warfare. Here a short trailer from an east german military movie, which shows the NVA, the East German Army in action:

I'm still on TOD object placement. The major job is done. Only the islands of Alderney and Hern are left. Two of six Alderney tiles are already populated with TOD objects. So it looks at the moment: At the moment this tiles are still jpg. I must convert them to tga, to make them to water tiles. I hope, that i can finish this terrain till Easter.

The polish border problem. The movement of the borders after 1945 would it make difficult to create a correct target setting. You would need two or three different terrains to cover all changes.

Poland is a big country with heavily changing borders. It would be a big challenge to make this terrain. This is not done in few weeks.

Su-25 Czechoslovakian Air Force end 1980th. The insignias on the right wing are in wrong direction. The basic rule for czech insignias is, the Blue is always to the front, the Red is always toward the fuselage.

I hope so. The terrain is heavily Flak infested. With bmp tiles it could be a slideshow. -

Looks good. Much better than the stock terrain tiles, which i used in Korea MiG-Alley Terrain. -
I got the F4 Korea terrain to run. There was no hang up at 80%. It was a F-104 recon mission and there were no problems. Only the 128x128 pixel tiles are outdated in comparision with 256x256 pixel in TK stock terrains and the 512x512 or 1024x1024 pixel tiles which you find in some moders terrains.

You can change the date without big problems. The only problem would be, that in MiG-Alley terrain are no SAM. Its designed for Korea War. Simply add some SAM sites and thats it.

If you want a 100% scale Korea terrain try this: It would only need a new tileset.
