  1. And my local pet shop just got in a new stock of babel fish too!
  2. The A-10 would be great if you could replace the GAU-8 with a mega water pistol! Wrench I'm at work right now and on my phone but will get te Bronco skin over to you tonight. Russo or ravenclaw_007 are probably the best bets for Buccs templates if not included in the downloads.
  3. How about a Bucaneer? Long range and endurance, good at low level work, and it's already got a bulged weapons bay to hold plenty of retardant!

    Movies

Not a full movie. Not even a war movie, although there is gun play. But if you like movies ...... Can we have the next CA boys night out here?
  5. Aren't there IRIAF F-4Es in the Operation Darius mod?
  6. I've had these on my HD for a while if anyone wants to make use of them: 'Fire Eater' from the movie 'Always' NB This is for the DAT A-26C, but could be used for reference for a skin for Bobrock's Invader. A fictional Civil Air Patrol OV-10D A semi-fictional California Department of Forestry OV-10D
  7. I think that this is the carrier in the opening screenshots. http://combatace.com/files/file/12529-cvn-75-harry-s-truman-modern-cvw-3/ It already has static model aircraft and crew members on deck and IIRC only 2 cats are useable.
  8. Anyone know if this skin is available for the Typhoon? I couldn't see it in the excellent recently re-released model superpack.
  9. Might be a silly question, but have you checked your key mapping? Have you accidentally set it so that what you think is acquire target is actually quit game?
  10. Just seen on their Facebook page that the series has been renewed for a second season :)
  11. Found this in the SF1 download section. http://combatace.com/files/file/6425-rsaf-and-israeli-typhoons/
  12. It works! Thanks Erik.
  13. I'm sure I remember going up against Egyptian Rafales in the old Janes Fighters Anthology games at least 20 years ago!
  14. Up to episode 3 now in the UK - watched it last night. It's OK if a bit cliched, and the female synths are nice to look at ;) What I did like was the marketing campaign for the series with TV ads for the synths themselves, a mock store opening in London, a website and ebay listings to buy your own synth! http://www.personasynthetics.com/ http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Persona-Synthetics The guys at fembotcentral must be over the moon at this!
  15. Great skin. Will it work on the F model too? (I like the idea of VA-35 transitioning from the 2 seat A-6E to the 2 seat Superhornet)
  16. Eric, I don't know whether you've read any of Robert Gandt's Sam Maxwell series http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/g/robert-gandt/but they feature Superhornets of (IIRC) VFA-32, 34, 35 and 36 flying off the USS Ronald Reagan in various scenarios in the Middle East, Persian Gulf, Straits of Taiwan and South China Sea I don't think 35 or 36 fly the Superhornet, and had Intruders and Corsairs respectively.
  17. Erick will his sort out the mobile version of the site or is that gone for good?
  18. Presumably the Captain of the Ross spilled his coffee all over his console and down his shirtfront during the unauthorised flyby!
  19. Apparently May 13th is Top Gun Day. Anyone else feeling the need. The need for Speed?
  20. Yes you would still be able to fly an Israeli campaign in a merged install from SF2:E if you also have SF2:I installed.. What Wrench is saying is that by only having what you need in a particular install that makes it a more customised experience. For example, when I'm choosing a mission in one of my SF2:I Installs (I've got 2: 1948 - 56 and 1967 up to date) I don't want to be scrolling through RAF Harriers, Spanish F/A-18s, Argentine Super Entendards etc. that have no place in the region, spoil the immersion and just clog up the game. Yes, I've got a basic SF2 with all and sundry in also, but I rarely use it because it's just so slow to load sometimes. So, all my installs are 'merged' (i.e. they include all of the stock planes, terrains, campaigns etc), but are 'separate' in that I tailor them for the specific experience I want. Hope that makes sense. Here's a screenie of my desktop today with my SF installs on the right, although with a 3 day Bank Holiday weekend to play with and a glaring gap where a SF2: WW2 Pacific install should be that might change over the next 36 hours! Welcome to the wonderful world of Strike Fighters and Combatace!!
  21. Trying to get this old (SF1) warrior back to (SF2) life with Allenjb42 and 331Killerbee. Somewhere off the coast of Dhimar, yesterday
  22. No problem. I'll sort it out and upload ASAP.
  23. Eole, you've freed up my weekend to fly the Harrier instead of editing it!! Thanks so much guys!
  24. I know that we have the AV-8A and various versions of the AV-8B, but is there an AV-8C for the 2nd gen games? I think there was one for SFP1, but iirc it wasn't a mod of a stock harrier but a third party model. Has anyone updated it for 2nd gen before I look through my archives and do the updating dance? I'm putting together a USMC centred install so wouldn't mind having it for completeness, especially with green/grey camo and low viz markings. Thanks in advance.
  25. Many happy returns mate!
