My mind has gone blank and for the life of me I can't find the answer in the KB for either SF1 or SF2. I want to rename the IsraelME folder in my SF2 install as this is a detailed terrain and quite memory intensive so I also want the standard IsraelME terrain available for when I haven't got time to wait for the detailed terrain to load. I renamed the folder to IsraelMEDL and also have an IsraelMEDL.ini, and IsraelMEDL.HFD and IsraelMEDL.TFD but when I ran a mission to test the terrain all of the airfields have disappeared and I'm taking off from a discoloured grass field. What have I done wrong and how can I fix it?

Little Bird Campaign?
allenjb42 replied to Tappedops's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
I'm no expert and have never done it before, but like I said you could buy the Campaign Customizer or have a look in the Knowledgebase. http://combatace.com/topic/44798-adding-aircraft-to-campaigns-in-sf2/ -

But the OH-6A should be fine for flying in a 'Nam campaign though and you could add the AH-6F to a more modern campaign. -

Have you considered buying the Campaign Customiser from the TW store? https://store.thirdwire.com/store_dlc.htm -
In the SF1 section: http://combatace.com/files/file/6442-idf-b-17g-1956/ http://combatace.com/files/file/6440-idf-b-17g-1948/ I think they are for the DAT models. In the SF2 section you also have the 48-56 Mod which includes an Israeli B-17 and skins: http://combatace.com/files/file/13757-48-56-exp-1-add-on-redux-part-1-of-2/ http://combatace.com/files/file/13756-48-56-exp-1-add-on-redux-part-2-of-2/

Sundowners recent excellent Alternative Falklands Terrains pack inspired me to dust off my SF2: South Atlantic install to try some post-1982 scenarios. We know that 1435 Flight is based at Mount Pleasant with 4 aircraft only, Phantoms, then Tornadoes and now Typhoons. What if the Argentines launched a bolt from the blue airstrike, looking to hit the airfield and other targets before Britain could deploy reinforcements from the UK? I'll be playing the missions in different years to see what happens using the different planes employed by 1435 Flight, and also from the Argentine side, upgrading their aircraft as appropriate. My basic scenario is a strike by 3 flights of 8 A-4s (or maybe 6 flights of 4 A-4s), with 2 flights of 2 A-4s to fly defence suppression, and two flights of 4 Mirages to fly top cover, either Escort or Fighter Sweep. My dilemma is how to deploy the RAF assets in the mission builder. I don't think that a flight of 4 is useful because they are all going to get tangled with the first flight they engage. So do I go for two flights of 2, or should I set each aircraft to operate independently and assign one flight to each inbound strike flight and hope they engage any other bandits with remaining missiles? And what would happen in a real life situation? Would the RAF jets be committed singly?

Stand In Angola Terrain?

Not sure. Does Wrench mention anything in the readme? Here is a search in the downloads for 'Madagascar' which gives you quite a few campaigns and other downloads for SFP1 and for SF2. Have fun! http://combatace.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1 -
