Spinners, i strongly suspect new ANG unit histories from you when i release this!!! SupGen, this project took me abit longer than i anticipated but i undertook it to improve skinning and CS6 skills. im afraid F/G will be abit further down the road if i tackle it at all. to all following, gonna make a Desert skin (same pattern, just coloring diff's), black Thud nums and a "HI" tailcode as well as AFRES marking. Soulfreak would you be willing to make and ini dance the nose arts('My Karma', 'StarDust 6')? if so i'll release with a decal ini for historical seriel num release and what-if with stockish numbers.

got frustrated and just wrapped the stock skin. if you look in the screenshot thread you can see a amusing pink shade i used to get things lined up better. still couldnt get the tan shade in _2 to match the shade in _3 exactly but you have to look closely me thinks to notice (as i was making it and most of the established modders here i know would notice). gonna work on a HI tailcode as it meshes in with another project of mine. givin the thud the same love i gave AF Phantoms, at least as far as decals go.

yea so i'm tryin something different as i try to wraparpund the Thud's camo skin......... oddly reminds me of a line from Good Morning Vietnam. something bout going into the jungle and clashing......

ya know i wonder what happened to all the 190s and the factory equip. to make em after the war. particularly the timeline on when. could make for a good what if on the reborn Luftwaffe in 1949 esp with the above.................

well theres a mean suprise for the morning. thought we had Forrestals that were not at that other site................ Tu-128 would be a good realistic addition for the scenario, even tho it came from Harpoon and not RL. most AF's had their bomber mafia that said they would get thru w/o escort. we even had it too at CA but Dave went over to DCS.....

i have DCS world and picked up the A-10 from the Steam sale. also looking to get into OFF just to have something different. but i'll stick with TW for one primary reason....................... Phantoms. lots and lots of Phantoms.

Macelena, have a newer J with DECM as part of the lod courtesy of an English friend of this community's. slowly workin towards skinning and decalling it for release. probably released with the N and RF-4B (all using the fake pilot method). thanks for the mention on the _74 tho

macelena, i believe Forrestalls Phantoms were J's until 80/81. at least VF-74 was and they stayed on the FID until the end and only used S's on their last cruise in 83....... as it was the S came out in 78, most went to Marine units first, some of whom were stil flying B's!

Dhimari AF squadrons added if any of you all want to use this for decalling. i've got them from 881 thru 899 and plenty of space holders from stock to the start of non stock so every new patch won't jack it too badly (other than seeing who from mine TK added and who has to be added to stock). gotta correct the dislpaynames from mine to what Spinners has in his mod as thats what i based it off of but not doing that for awhile probably. hope this is useful.

hey those of us in the states could do the White House petition page requesting something (AAR, newer F-16s something). won't get nothing from the White House but its free publicity for TK and might spur him to goin back to PC with a semi- national spotlight.

all bombers or just WW2 era? i flew the the Buff from the Megapack few weeks back and game loaded with 15 others on the mission. (sent em all home as i was loaded with 20 SRAMs but i digress...) NA terrian outta Keflavik, Europe exe and full 5 merged w/ both Exp. packs if that makes any difference to ya...

well thats just great. i'm starting a class using Max 2012 today, but was hoping to get a copy of '09 if i mastered this well enough. 949 IIRC on amazon, but still gotta butter someone up and wait on a couple of rounds of school money refunds before getting that. FC how does it compare to say Sketchup (frustration wise)?

color scheme plz. the linked jpg here is a bit small to try to work with the bottom view. top and most of the sides are very similar to SEA as used in game so mainly just have to change the tan to gunship grey. but matching the bottom gets challenging. i'll do the SEA Wraparound as well, depending on school req's and frustration level with those two skins might just do the desert skin as well if you wanna do the decals as serials for Hill AFB. even have a squadronlist entry for the 466th if you want them avail in the drop down menu. sorry but not feelin up to the tga's but wanting to work scratchish skinning skills.

Wrench will be the WW2 master, but i will ask are the terrians and ships being used Gen 1 or 2? that will hold much of the answer me thinks. i've found that many Gen 1 files will fire up in Gen 2. but like a 70's Vega that starts, it may still have alot of suprises. as for the helo's..... werent there SH-3s on the USS Nimitz back on 6 Dec 1941? ya know the day Tomcats engaged two Mitsubishi A6M0's off of Hawaii?

are there templates for the ThudWire (pun intended) 105? just now fully messing with skins in CS6 so could give it a go as more practice. loving Photoshop over Gimp ( now that i own a copy that is) as with anything else competes with my projects but if theres a template (to preserve the panel lines over my work mainly) would be willing to bump it up near top. my next two skiinning projects involve Euro 1 camo anyhow.......

no joy on a EW radar. have a EW Radar UK but that kicks off in the data ini in 71 and uses the hwak launcher for a model, so dont think its what youre looking for.

fuel tanks done, now gotta figure out the typical generic markings (MAC badge, wing badges and where of numbers). gotta blank out a modern grey skin too but thats easy by comparison to this...

give eburgers SAMs pack. in the SF2 objects section. if not there i'll look around as i know i've seen it somewhere in my mods pile............
