  1. It's a skin I';m working on for myself, matter of fact getting more stuff on it. Suffice to say I don't like the SEA skin that much so I'm messing with Sundowner's templates. Here's a shot I took before heading north to Hanoi.
  2. Been getting a few gun kills lately (though really it's just the QF-4E and a payback of a Tomcat a couple days ago) and an afternoon view from the office.
  3. He added pilots names to the CAG bird and the shark toothed drop tanks and recolored the "Miss Molly" blue. Not sure what's exact as most of my references were black lettered. Though it is common for CAGs to sometimes "edit" color schemes so its not so much putting our skins under surgery more or less you're doing another variation. But is very nice work XRAY!
  4. Was busy enjoying the scenery and got distracted so I had to take care of a couple things later on... (killed two MIG-21s with an AMRAAM and 9X shot within the span of 28 seconds)
  5. Wrench is 100% correct as if TE didn't drive me nuts I'd be doing some terrain modding my own self. But every time I try it I get so frustrated I just hope my wish areas would get done...

  7. OR Print as PDF (CutePDF is what I use) and that'd work too....
  8. thanks... But seriously it's not my first time just I'm taking it more seriously but agreed dogfighter it is not... Waiting for my turn (had SEAD working the area) Flew the F-14 against an unloaded Super Hornet and maybe I just suck at ACM (which is not my forte) but the Tomcat just can't turn as well so that plane that's smoking is me...
  9. Looking nice Spinners! If you need a "blank" one without the roundels for any more projects let me know... Really starting to fly the Phantom a lot more, particularly the E version. Which is very strange since I hardly use the gun except for practice SEAD flight coming around.
  10. Ahh well good point... I don't know the particulars on that side but I've used some FN and Thales equipment so gotcha
  11. Actually I do like it a lot as the mountain ranges are nice and it's not heavy on the frames, good clean flying fun
  12. http://combatace.com/topic/62260-steel-tiger-problem/ This may be the fix, check it out.
  13. It's not SF2E or any game specific as it;s designed to work with ALL games as all the files are inclusive. Maybe because you put it in the SF2E folder you're getting the glitch
  14. Southern California. Ejecting flares after dropping another JDAM on a target. A Strike Eagle drops a JDAM on a SEAD mission in Southern Iran while the wingman comes around for its own pass.
  15. @Wrench I got a load of Iraq pics too (like a couple thousand of mine and some from others though mainly at ground level) if you need them. @Profi I don't have a clue man as I run only SF2E and obviously I have no issues. But there should be no issue with merged installs in any case so I really don't know. How did you install it?

  17. Not really since the US military does use foreign made equipment just it's not as common as other militaries.
  18. The F-15E handles just fine as you got to realize that the Strike Eagle wasn't designed to turn and burn like a Hornet or Super Hornet. As well as the F-14 as both the -15E and -14 are not light planes so consequently they handle as they do.
  19. I know I've slowed down work on it but I've been thinking about doing that so it'll come around. Fox 1!
  20. Dude seriously the A-10 is the cat's meow in Afghanistan, and while it was initially designed for anti-tank close support it's definitely the beast when it comes to supporting the grunts on the ground. But let's get back on topic... Seems an interesting idea for sure though... the more fun they can have the better...
  21. What it boils down to is the maker's responsibility to make sure to note any changes, not the Admin's or Moderators. If you're going to update it then you should let people know rather than just fixing it and not telling people.
