  1. Thanks! Nazghul sent me a Desert MARPAT picture and I adapted it using some other colors from a proposed naval version of the Gripen More work:
  2. Luck mainly as I've shot at MiG-23s and missed with AIM-120Ds, it happens.
  3. "Terminal Guidance" is (or should be) it uses it's active seeker to home on the target, i.e. the AA-12 actually isn't an "AMRAAMski" but it is SARH until it reaches say, 15 kilometers within its target then goes active. "Target Memory" Useful for Anti-Radiation missiles it allows the missile to memorize the location so if the radar shuts off (which in-game it never does anyways) so it'll still hit. Useful for other things but that's how I always ascribe it. "Home on Jam" means that if you fire a radar guided missile and the target aircraft starts to use it's jammer, it uses that as it's homing source, not the reflected energy of the radar. "Optical Backup" means a radar guided system has an optical seeker just in case of high ECM. "Sea Skimming" good for anti-ship missiles "IFF Interrogator" means that, it interrogates the targeted aircraft in case of BVR engagements. Not useful for heat-seekers. "Seeker Uncage" The missile locks onto the target itself "Seeker Slave" Good for off-boresight missiles, so if you use padlock effectively the missile "tracks" your movement (again useful for heat-seekers) allowing HOBS shots (within parameters) "Terminal Pop-Up" It'll pop up at the last minute in order to engage targets on the top armor (mainly for effect to me anyways since armor is pretty abstracted within the game IMHO) "Lofted" means upon launch it'll climb up to a designated angle or height for target engagement. Best Guidance type is based on what you're trying to do, and all have their advantages and disadvantages. CM Rejection is Countermeasures rejection. It should be noted a lot of the answers are just simple Google searches, most of the replies were off the top of my head though so I may be a little off.

  5. Going digital...
  6. Night Strike
  7. Well like SkateZillaHD says, it happens on average 1 out of 10 startups so I don't concern myself about it.
  8. Disregard, got it working SkateZillaHD...
  9. No luck... how do you switch it to Basic Skatezilla?
  10. I'm running 32 bit (64-bit Windows) so still don't know why. I'll disable the AeroUI and see what happens.
  11. My game is crashing like a mofo everytime I boot up SF2E. I've brought it up with TK on the TW boards but like me he's scratching his head on what the issue is. It's the NVIDIA chipset (mobile 330 GT Mobile with updated drivers) is what I'm using. Problem is Windows 7 (Which I'm thinking this is mainly the reason) switches to Basic color scheme everytime I load up Oct 11 SF2:E and therefore forces a crash or the game is so illegible it's only by reflex I can exit out. Is there a way to stop Windows from switching to Basic? Navigating the menus is like... well difficult. I've done what limited things I can do but this is very repeatable and yes, very annoying.
  12. Getting a bit off-topic...
  13. I just had an experience today pre-patch today and managed to get hit pretty good with an RPG-7 so not sure...
  14. 1) Yes depending on guidance type, that usually determines how it is designated in-game 2) "Noise Rejection" is how the missile resists countermeasures, set to 100 3) Yes
  15. Desert Strike
  16. Don't forget to add this to the [Fuselage] portion either: SystemName[019]=RadarStation
  17. Out and about
  18. "Koninklijke" I'm gonna have to make a specific nation Apache since they don't have the laser warning system on the fuselage But I'm trying to figure out the font for the tail boom numbers (that's honestly that's left to do with the skin).
  19. Looking nice, maybe you can work on newer models of the Paveway series... the Bunyap ones are pretty dated...
  20. Dutch Apache WIP
  21. wishmaster looking good... like the desert digital but gonna have to move it to the What If Screenshot Thread @daddyairplanes most of the buyers kept the same olive drab, with the exception of the Israelis, who has a two tone desert scheme on the later aircraft (early aircraft still olive drab). And the JASDF a three tone scheme. I'm still learning the mapping (which is just beautiful) and thinking of doing a Dutch skin (at least the majority of the stuff, decals for serial numbers not too sure) as I still have some stuff floating around from my work with DCS Black Shark.
  22. Over the Top
  23. I think I got the color right...
