Give it some coloring, and it looks better, almost different. I may work on the turret for the CSAT version though, but haven't thought of any good designs for it, so I may just keep it like this. It's not like you'll spend most of the time looking at the piece, but either calling for fire, or sitting inside of it, shooting it. Either way I like how it looks so far.:

Mods being uploaded Sunday: - Flanker562 Barriers - Flanker562 Helo Skins - Flanker562 Cherokee Containers - Flanker562 Helicopter Pack It seems that changing the base classname for the config broke something in the Flanker562 Wipeout, so I uploaded the fixed PBO earlier today, felt it was a breaking issue, so had to upload ASAP. That's how I get with mods. If something can wait like a normal improvement, then I'll upload on Sunday. But game-breaking stuff needs to be done as soon as possible, and yeah, it may cause some issues, but I can only do so much too.

Managed to change the mod name folder of two more mods. I think Flanker562 will be my handle for a longer time than EricJ, but we'll see on how long I mod and if I do for Arma 4 (got to learn Blender, maybe), or not. Anyway they'll go up Sunday, and pretty much "getting back to schedule" with updates and so on. Not much planned, though I'm teasing the idea of Al-Qeada for the Taliban Fighters mod, since some service members fought them in Afghanistan. Per a gamer's comment, AQ seemed more skilled than the Taliban, so I'll probably look at a rework of the actual Taliban units I made. It shouldn't be too bad, but it'll probably be noticed by either active service members or veterans of that country and so far seems like I am doing a good enough job as it is now.

Impostor syndrome is what every writer goes through, even me. Anyway, so far even as a moderator I try and focus on doing my moderator duties as well as promote my work. I keep it to this topic only because I have a job to do, and posting my work on other topics is pretty much not what is in the spirit of the site. Anyway, if you ever get it translated to English, it would be an interesting perspective from a foreigner on what is basically a mostly English market. And I mainly write now special ops stuff too, though I I do have a series with a normal mercenary unit doing normal PMC stuff. But most of my focus on are counterinsurgency themes, with some special ops twists to it, as well as other tropes. Assymetric warfare will become more of a thing (I think it's already there), along with conventional war stuff. It's literally impossible to fully convince a population that X Army is the good guys, and there will be insurgent warfare more and more.

Flanker562 Wipeout Skins RC16 - Removed all coding references to the MASTER ARMS- SAFE system, which somehow doesn't work with vanilla jets anymore. - PBO renamed "Flanker562_Wipeout" instead of EricJ_Wipeout. Just cleaned out some code for the Flanker562 Wipeout... which is still EricJ_Wiepout as a folder name. I'm seriously considering renaming things but as such it is just a text file and some skins, so who knows, but I've been itching to. Anyway, the MASTER ARMS - SAFE doesn't work anymore, at least I think on vanilla jets, and only modded jets. I tried messing around with it, and no worky, so methinks just gotta deal with it. I may look into it on the helicopters though, more to follow. I'm teasing an upload tomorrow, since it's only the Wipeout and Weapons Pack. I don't have much on the plate, other than waiting for BroBeans to get back with me sometime on the Hatchet stuff.

Did you PM the author? Most often if you do he should allow you to do it, but I would at first do that, to make sure you cover your ass in case of any uploads. I mean there's the CombatAce User Agreement, but I would stress contacting the original author first.

Okay we have New Years left, so there's that. I'm having an issue with the loading of preset attachments on my AH-6/.15 and don't know what to do, to get them to load on the pylons for a default loadout. I managed to create some presets whoopie, but still having issues with that. Nobody's really complained, but I think for soemthing or somebody who wants to get and go and blow up shit my helos are lacking. If somebody knows how to do that, let me know please. I tried to fix a TA64 Scope for the weapons pack, it's borked right now until the 5th, but it's one optic so maybe it'll be not complained about. I fixed it and will be in the next update.

This won't evolve into something greater, and is set for the Civilian faction, to denote a feeling of neutrality in a warzone. I may switch it to Independent, but I'll wait for user feedback first, if I need to change the faction affiliation. Flanker562 Helicopter Pack RC176 - Tweaked the Surefire suppressor texture, adding some noise to give a better appearance to it when looked at close up. - Removed a model error that popped up when using the Flanker562 Weapon Pack in regards to model issues. - Task Force 562 units now carry RGO grenades instead of RGN grenades. - Added one more pistol mag for the Task Force 562 units - The Task Force 562 pre-defined squad I replaced some of the Rifleman with a UAV, Grenadier, and a MAR10 Sharpshooter operator - Task Force 562 Offroad has datalink capability - Task Force 562 Offroad has backpacks and magazines (along with stock FAKs) as standard - Fixed the respawn magazines for the TF 562 Grenadier - Removed four magazines from the Sniper (MAR-10) to allow some room for additional equipment - Tweaked DetectSkill levels for the TF562 units, giving a little more variance in the ability to fight. - Added preview images for the helicopters. They're not oriented like BIS helos, or vehicles, but they show the correct image for the helos in the pack. - Tweaked Cost values for the Black River PMC faction Flanker562 Wipeout Skins RC15 - Aircraft from this mod have in-built full datalink EricJ Taliban Fighters RC24 - Fixed the Afghan PMC Squad, now shows up in the Independent side as intended. Flanker562 Weapons Pack RC125 - Tweaked Surefire suppressor textures, adding some noise to give a better appearance to them when looked at up close. - Pistols with underside rails now use ASDG instead of the vanilla system. Note that I don't take any responsibility for misaligned mods or otherwise have no control of what other modders have for the pistol slot. - Added an ACP-C2-specific laser pointer, made by Ibex. - Added an ACP-C2-specific tactical flashlight, made by Ibex. - Ibex pistol attachments no longer attach to rifles, only to pistols with the ASDG system - Added Tan versions of the ACP-C2 flashlight and laser. - Removed the troublesome visible laser from the mod. I had thought it was CBA_A3, but no, it was an old script done years ago. It seems to be more troublesome to keep than actually useful. I recommend searching the Arma 3 Steam Workshop for Visible Lasers that meet these needs. Unfortunately as of release I have no replacement, and not sure (after using some myself) would be able to configure it for a specific mod to recommend. When I do I will announce it on the Steam page and my Discord. - Removed a model error that popped up when using the Flanker562 Helicopter Pack in regards to model issues.
