  1. True, that's why you hit the "M" key to verify. Besides Strike Fighters 1/2 is pretty basic: Waypoint #2: Departure Waypoint #3: Waypoint Waypoint #4: Initial Point (The waypoint with a square) Waypoint #5: Target Location (The waypoint with a triangle) Waypoint #6: Egress Direction Waypoint #7: Waypoint Waypoint #8: Approach Waypoint #9: Landing Lineup Waypoint #10: Runway End.
  2. It more than likely is doable, but by The Mirage Factory or somebody versed in that stuff. I usually adjust my zoom all the way out so I can see the HSI while flying though.
  3. I found some bits in ObjectData003.cat for SF2E.
  4. It's the way the game engine works unfortunately. What you can do is go into the Loadout.ini of the aircraft and do this: Loadout[32].WeaponType=GBU-40 Loadout[32].RackType=BRU-61 Loadout[32].Quantity=4 This is taken from the F-15E thats in the SF2 super pack but shows how it will successfully load as you want it.
  5. From what Spectre_USA told me, it's a bug that never got squashed. I had it happen to me in a campaign once, and once bitten twice shy is my feeling, but it does happen, and as far as I know not fixed. I would have thought it would have been fixed in SF2 but apparently not...
  6. It should register. Check the particular aircraft's folder, and find the "_RWR.lst" file, and open it up with notepad. If I convert planes to SF2, then I use the base list that MigBuster had in his tutorial. It's the user's responsibility to update the TEWS list themselves. Also, I'm pretty sure in the SA-17 Readme for SF2 I specified the line you had to add to the TEWS list. If not my apologies...
  7. For those a bit daunted by the terrain, the only way to concievably put out targets is to fly a mission, enable your DisplayDebug=TRUE and use CTRL + F12 and then "fly" to where you want. If you get something like the image below, your targets will be sunk "on the earth" and therefore not reachable technically by your weapons due to collision zones and "transparency" of the 3d terrain. However, you can also find areas that if you "fly" and you are skimming the ground, without getting the result below, then you can put targets on there. I found that out today with a SAM site on the slope of the mountain, so technically... you should be able to engage those targets without sinking them.
  8. Well you can go into the Knowledge Base and see about converting the SF1 version to SF2. The .out file is just an additional file that lists the textures. You can delete that and things will be okay. Another reason you may check is that the original nation is SWEDEN, you have also set it for export in order for it to show up. I did that and (I haven't double checked) it should be loadable, as I figure it's a Brit plane, it should have it loaded.
  9. Try this, and if it somehow doesn't work... there's another download in the SF1 download section under single weapon files. If that doesn't work... you got me. Meteor.7z
  10. Go to the downloads section and get 331Killerbee's SF2 Ordnance Shop Weapon Pack thingamajig. It has the AIM-132 in there, and I believe the Meteor, all for SF2.
  11. Man I gotta try and get that Tiger, saw some pics a couple days ago of the French Tigers and was like "A little helo action wouldn't hurt". Or serverandenforcer has to get hot on his old Apache project..
  12. View File Afghanistan Terrain New Targets v1.5 This is a modification (that was okay'd by Gepard) that adds more targets to his version 1.0 of the Afghanistan map. Right now it is technically a "beta" but it adds a few more targets, CAS areas to the map. Along the days I'll add more here and there, but is considered to be a seperate mod to his terrain. README: Simply extract and put it in the Afghanistan terrain folder, and allow overwrite. Original work done by Gepard. If you have suggestions or locations you may have added, please don't hesitate in contacting me. 1.5 Notes: - With thanks to Gepard, Bagram has been upgraded to a LARGE airbase, allowing B-1s, B-52s or other bombers to take off. Remember that to takeoff without crashing, take off from the eastern side of the runway. - Modern CAS designations. If you want to use more historic designations, scroll to the bottom of the _targets file and name away. - More targets in more places, be prepared to fly to the interior. Most of the targets are still on the "ring" but a few inside. EricJ Submitter EricJ Submitted 01/23/2010 Category Terrains

  14. Yes, but you also need the "Desert" map from SF2 or SFG for it to run, which is why I don't have any issues, because I have that map.
  15. Not sure what was wrong, but I put it there, and it loaded and opened fine for me. Then again I'm using SF2E as well.
  16. Well I can't swear or gaurantee that the Oct 08 patch will solve the problems... but either reinstall the game or download it for FREE as believe it or not, TK's patches are good about fixin problems. And to be quite honest with you... never heard of that issue before, but everybody's computer is different...
