The bottom one is an entry in the Eurofighters Avionics.ini (or what ever a/c is using the Eurofighter cockpit) - The line you are after is this (right at the bottom of the file) - [HUD_SteeringCue] SymbolType=STEERING_CUE ImageFilename=cockpit\HUD\SteeringCue.tga ImagePosition=0.0,-0.125 ImageSize=0.025 <--------------------------------------------------------------- VerticalAlignment=TOP That size is fine for me, yours will currently be a much bigger number. What I can't seem to be able to do is move it from the centre of the screen and put it at the top along the compass rose regardless of how I edit the position/size/alighnment etc. It just stays in the centre

View File Vought F-118 Raider - Israeli Air Force Pack ************************ Israeli Air Force F-118 Pack for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 ************************ This pack contains several Israeli Air Force versions of the Vought Raider F-118 - created by Cocas (Daniel) - and it has been tested on a May '13 fully merged install of all 5 games. It requires SF2:Israel for the A/C serial numbers to show up on the tails, however, it will run without SF2:I but the tails will be blank. ***Aircraft can be found under "VOUGHT F-118" in the In-Game Menu*** History -------- In 1974 the USAF started the Light Weight Fighter competition for a new light combat Fighter to complement the F-15A Eagle and in this version of History the winner was..........The Vought F-118A Raider. The aircraft's low cost and advanced design meant that it was exported widely, with Israel in particular buying a sizeable amount and modifying them well beyond what the original designers had ever thought possible. This pack is designed to roughly mirror the service history of the F-16C/D/I so the design of a Blk30 F-118 is fairly similar to that of a Blk30 F-16 for example. OTHER INFO ----------- Issues - ------ Python Missiles & Fuselage Pylons - Due to the size of the rear fins on the Python Missiles then can sometimes touch the stores put on the inboard wing pylon. MApping - The mapping is difficult around the nose with some skin stretching. The USAF Euro skin was really tricky, so much so that I wanted to punch a thousand cute kittens in their cute little faces by the end, after spending hours/days trying to get the edges to match up! So sadly some of it's not as good as I'd like but the PS templates are out to so hopefully you can improve on my skin.   11. The pistol round could hit one of the missiles setting either the warhead off (less unlikely) or causing the rocket motor to explode (more likely) damaging the helicopter so it had to turn away.

    A lot of the original UK Black Friday companies were US based (Amazon, Asda/Walmart etc) and once UK companies saw those profits they all jumped on the band wagon.
  13. Russo - If you do it that way then there's no weapons for the AI wingmen in the Loadout page as they can only load what *your aircraft" i.e the Hawkeye can, which is none. SkyViper - You'll need to select a single mission as the fighter that you want your escort to be i.e If you want F-14 escorts then you have to select a mission as an F-14 and then, in the Loadout Page, change *your* aircraft to the Hawkeye etc. Just be careful to select a Mission type that the Hawkeye can actually do i.e Recon and don't select a Strike or Attack etc mission as you won't be able to select Hawkeye for that etc. The only way to call support is by using the Mission Editor (either came as DLC or came with EXP 2 DLC) and you can can select "Support" options in there.     PlayStation 3 500GB Slim with Gran Turismo 5 Academy Edition, Logitech Driving Force GT Steering Wheel & Pedals and a special "driving" stand for the wheel/pedals to go on. As an ex-drifter IRL (450hp RWD R34 Skyline) who is now old and drives a diesel Ford I spent 90% of yesterday driving sideways around Tsukuba in Japan and either grinning like a Loon or raging whilst having a Tourettes attack, loved it!
  16. Damn! In one of those "it's a small world" ways I'd talked to Paul as we were both R34 Skyline owners and had passed a few PM's about on the GTR Owners Club site after he'd 1st bought his.
  17. SF2:NA is known as a system hog due to the terrain being a LOD (just like a plane etc) although a recent patch did improve the performance slightly. My O/C'd 4.6Ghz/GTX780 gaming rig still struggles at times yet runs ARMA 3 at 100FPS with everything maxed out. If you are doing an anti-shipping mission it's better and flying at 20ft above the waves as the Kuznetsov's AAA passes by you it looks fantastic!

Yeap it's very easy, open the "Options.ini" file you can see above and almost the very last line is this - [Mods] ModsEnabled=TRUE Directory=C:\Users\IanH\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe Editors=StrikeFighters2 now replace the Directory= with the location of your new one i.e my old one was this - [Mods] ModsEnabled=TRUE Directory=E:\SF2 Europe Editors=StrikeFighters2 and paste all your Mods into your new location, easy! However, you ***MUST*** keep the Options.ini file in its original C: location for this to work. Again hope that helps!

Unlike SF1 in SF2 ***ALL*** mods now get installed into the "Mod" folder which is here - "C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2XXX" where XXX is folder you want to put the Mod into - i.e StrikeFighters2 Europe or StrikeFighters2 Vietnam etc. Nothing gets put into the Program Folder like we used to with SF1. Here's what my SF2:E install looks like - "C:\Users\IanH\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe" Hope that helps, there's lots more info in the Read Me's for those Mods and in the SF2 knowledge base Section of this forum if you need any more help.

With only 3 recruits injured out of 33000 in service it's not the fault of the RAF or it's training techniques that meant that those 3 ended up damaging themselves whilst marching i.e they had weak bones etc. Thousands of other females and short males have passed through basic training without similar injury and the "Info" about them being "forced" into 30in paces is rubbish, stride length is not and has never been measured during RAF basic training. However, the lack of care they got from the medical staff "Just get on with it" etc even with 3 pelvic fractures, is sadly all too common in the RAF medical service. We can produce the best medics in the world for places like Afghanistan yet back at home a lot of medics (but not all thankfully) are pretty poor at their job, so much so it's a favourite topic of discussion - "What did the medics do wrong with you?" is a common daily conversation.
  21. Blimey, this is an old fault from when SF2:NA 1st appeared, I didn't realise it was still out there! You need to edit the controls Default.ini file directly (C:\Users\YOUR-NAME\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2 Europe\Controls) and NOT use the in-game editor.

  23. I'm hoping that, due to the pretty sub-standard (for HBO) acting, this turns out to be a trailer made by the CGI company who were bidding on the contract to supply just the CGI (and not those actors!), rather than an actual trailer for the finished HBO series.
  24. It's the max inlet temp thats the most important for engine damage. My Mach 4 "Testbed" (BAE Hawk ) used a max inlet temp of 2000'c without blowing up even though the Engine damage temps were still set to only 500-600'c so the higher the better!
