Double check you have put it in the right place C:\Users\<>\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Objects\Aircraft\EF-4C make sure this line is in the main .ini for the jet at the top [AircraftData] AircraftFullName=EF-4C Wild Weasel IV AircraftShortName=EF-4 AircraftDataFile=EF-4C_data.ini CockpitDataFile=EF-4C_cockpit.ini <-------------------------

  8. btw you can in newer versions change the _loadout.ini and specify the year you want the missiles to be loaded from. [AirToAir_72] StartDefaultDate=1972 DefaultFor=CAP,INTERCEPT Loadout[07].WeaponType=AIM-7E-2 Loadout[07].Quantity=1 ...............
  9. To change the sounds open up the ships _data.ini and find [sound] EngineSoundName=CVNAmbient MovementSoundName=CVNMovement So this would be CVNAmbient.wav, CVNMovement.wav
  10. After the forum structure is changed then files need to be moved 1 by 1 - a lot of work - SF2 was only changed this year. SF2 and SF1 download sections are pretty similar - what exactly are you suggesting? A separate area for WWII objects only? btw - you will still get conflicts - for example Spit Mk.9 pack can be WWII and post war

Pretty much as above - some examples SF2NA The campaign structure is different to all the other games - so if you fly an A-7 and the AI F-14s dont take out the bombers and the landing fleet get taken out then that can end as stalemate In SF2V Even though there is a DMZ there are no ground forces - so with no ground war you essentially fly a series of missions within the time period. In the campaign you will get proper unit representation and the different skins - but your objective is to survive the tour really (pretty much as the real thing). In any of the 3 campaigns historically the best you can hope for was a draw - i.e. LBII achieved clear objectives for the US - but North Vietnam still went on to invade South Vietnam and win. SF2/E/I This is more straight forward - you get a FLOT and ground forces actively engaging each other - With these you win by making sure your ground forces get to the objectives

  21. Never used that feature myself - pah - the historical jets they have put in are lost on you guys Afraid any additions to the mobile games will only be provided by Thirdwire as it stands - a Windows version might change that............
