  1. They are being sold to fund the scrapping of other aircraft in the collection.... The local council gave them virtually no notice to quit the site, they've now been given until easter next year to have the site cleared. https://cornwallaviationhc.co.uk/
  2. Museum being forced to close.....sad times. https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/cahc-newquay
  3. My condolences to you and your family, life can be very cruel to us sometimes. Your friends will be here for you as and when needed.
  4. That's exactly what I've done with a lot of my objects, its not too difficult really.
  5. So far I've got nearly 28000 objects placed on my Vietnam map. Da Nang airbase has 500 on the right side alone as I've split the base into 4 separate target areas and everything appears to be showing as it should. There's still a lot more to add so I dont think I've hit the limit yet. I must admit that I've limited my TOD's to about 1400 trees per tile maximum.
  6. New HFD and TFD's awaiting approval. One day I might get round to completely redoing this terrain.........I've learned a lot since it's initial release.
  7. Very nice m8.....I can remember doing a whole lot of these back in the SF1 days.
  8. Come on guys, it's a game, lets not fall out about it. Like DA said it's only taken me 3 years to respond but I will dig it out and give it a look over. I know I made a few improvements since it was released. Eric, I cant really understand why you're having issues with it as it's nothing special compared with other terrains released around that time.
  9. Which bases are they?? I might of already fixed them & never uploaded it.
  10. On base....... Sooo many new buildings, vehicles etc, I use hardly any stock objects anymore. At least by building my own you can get everything at the correct scale....some of the stock buildings are way off.
  11. Great team, great display, another sadly missed airshow act along with their counterparts that used two Jaguars....cant remember their name though........old age setting in.
  12. It's not the .dll itself that's at fault, it means that something is wrong with a particular aircraft as opposed to to a terrain or ship etc. So now you need to check aircraft names ,nations etc, anything that is related to the aircraft that are being used ( flyable or ai ) in that particular mission. Check everything, comma, full stop, case sensitive etc.
  13. The game will not generate a visable error message when it crashes bit it will show up in the windows error logs, it will show the faulting module ( area ) that is causing the problem, this in turn will point you in the right area that is causing your ctd's.
  14. I know that in Mue's Target editor objects using the same lod name wont show up....if that's any use m8.
  15. For my Vietnam install I'm not using the game "parked" aircraft slots anymore, everything is now a static aircraft so that I can get the right aircraft on the right airbase for the time period. I've also made about 50 (maybe more) extra vehicles, bomb trailers, generators etc & skinned them all to five 1024x1024 jpgs. And about 80+ new buildings all using about seven seperate jpgs. With 650+ tile textures you've really got to get into some creative thinking if you want use-able framerates....distance lods are a must ! As I only fly A/G missions ground object and terrain variation is a must for me........& don't get me started on rivers & roads.....
  16. Check ride.... Trees, Trails & Streams Local town River crossing in the shallows All objects, trees, rivers etc are placed within 1meter of their real world locations...................................
  17. Pffff.....always late to the party........
  18. Random shots.... 600+ Tiles + 600+ TODs + hi res HFD + 4096x4096 skins = pretty heavy going...& that's before we get to the target area..
  19. I think it has to to created like an afterburner can would be......& for the life of me I cant remember the process at the moment..... Sorry to be of no use whatsoever....
  20. There's a group of folks "Revamping" the whole YAP experience, they post over at SimHq and have a facebook group, try them m8.
  21. They have a facebook page where you need to register with them..........I think. Here it is https://www.facebook.com/groups/196048232552494 They also post previews etc on the Thirdwire forum at SimHQ
  22. Just a couple of pics for now m8. . These are my usual "go to" references.
  23. So far I've only been able to find 1 photo that actually shows a Shrike being carried during the war although they were commonly used, normal standard load out of 1 Shrike on each inboard pylon + 2 wing tanks & 2 Sparrows in the rear wells. Mk 80 Rockeye appears to be after Yom Kippur from what I'm seeing. I'll keep digging m8.
