I got all the WAPJ volumes after they were published, got them from various airshows over a period of time, all brand new from £3 to £6 each.. Same with the Wings of Fame series really apart from the hardback one( Which was also my first one ) which was a gift from my sister.....she found it in a charity shop for £1 , the rest were from shows around £4 each..... I got really lucky with the IAPR volumes, found them on ebay (15 volumes ) for £20 delivered, still need to get the rest but I've not seen any in my price range....yet. I've always been a bookworm & spent silly amounts of money on whatever I've been intrested in at the time, be it American cars, trucks, military vehicles......the list goes on & on only to sell them all ridiculously cheap when my intrests changed.........I wont be doing that again.. I only have 50-100 pdf type books, mainly flight manuals & stuff like that, cant beat real paper in your hands.. You can NEVER have too many books.

Is it just me ? What are your main areas of intrest? What does your collection say about you ? As I have about another 70-100 in boxes in my loft my collection says I need more space.....

Editing Colours on the Layer of a PSD file using GIMP
Sundowner replied to Piecemeal's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
I dont use Gimp but is there an option to change Hue/Saturation etc ? This is how I change individual colours in photoshop when changing a euro green lets say to a desert sand type colour........If that makes sense -
Can you move the Save game/mod folder to a different drive?

That's the problem nowadays.....some one will release something they should'nt or they get passed on to one of the "look at MY work" types that are around here ....not you btw. I don't have DCS so I wont be making anything I've worked on available for it......just personal choice.

Definitely Paco and Wpnssgt are the original authors of the model. I have the max files along with most of Mikes stuff.

I think a 2 sided mesh can cause this.......might be worth checking.

A few from Da Nang & the surrounding area. Is that Monkey Mountain in the background...?? Marble Mountain Marine Air Facility ....still wip. Da Nang Airbase 1967...ish.... Still wip.....but life would be a lot easier with a TOD editor.....or if I could get to grips the Terrain editor..

The terrain is my personal heavily modified Vietnam, the trucks & stuff are things I've made in the last few weeks. Wip Da Nang...set up as 2 seperate bases .

Has any body ever made a tool for editing the terrain Types ini ? Some of mine have got way too many unused entries & I'd like to tidy them up without trying to sort all the number sequencing.

Hunting the trails..... Decided to make a few more tiles & draw some trails on them......going around the trees.....not perfect but better than nothing.

Quick question for the terrain experts...... Why don't any of the Vietnam terrains we've got have any roads on them?? Because ; A...I want to photograph a crossroads...... And B.... I then want to bomb said road junction...

Craig Brierley was the original creator, he made the model & I made the skins. Craig has'nt been around for a long time though. A 2 seater was never intended but I do have the max files.............somewhere...
