Stratos Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Found this pic, but was this scheme really used in Vietnam? Quote

Nesher Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I was about to say what flogger posted the picture looks like from it was taken from "Dogfights" great quality btw! Quote
MigBuster Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) That picture is from Ospreys USN F-4 Phantom II vs VPAF MiG-17/19 - by Gareth Hector Edited November 13, 2013 by MigBuster Quote
CowboyTodd41 Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 If you can ever catch dogfights when it's actually shown in HD (which is almost NEVER) it's like a totally different show. It really is gorgeous, and it's far more quick and visceral. Quote
Stratos Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Pretty cool scheme then. Thanks for the info and the links! Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Check out my N pack. Have that skin (set for later in the 70s but no difference other that the NF on the wing). Plus my markings are tgas rather than on the skin so hould be no prob to transfer to the B's or the J. Lemme know if you want B orJ serials to go with. Will be doing that for the J but much further out Quote
+CrazyhorseB34 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 VF-161 USS Midway 1972. Five MiGs killed. The whole bottom row belongs to them. 1 Quote
