Known Issues & Additional information:
 
Schraege Music is controlled by Fire Secondary Gun Button, (not mapped on keyboard by default)
Gunsight for Schraege Music (two guns firing 45 degrees upwards) is missing.

Foche-Wulf FW-190A-8/R2 " Wurger " Readme

1. This is a mod of Wolf257's original FW-190A ( FW-190A-5 ) aircraft. The FW-190A-8/R2 was a field
modification intended to give the Luftwaffe more firepower when dealing with the heavily armored
Allied four engined bombers such as the B-17, the B-24, and the Lancaster. Primary change was to the
armament, with 13mm MG131s replacing the 7.92mm fuselage MGs, and the outboard wing cannon changed
to 30mm Mk.108s. Some FW-190A-8s also were modded to carry underwing gunpods with either a single
30mm cannon or twin 20mm MG151s. When these gunpods are released in the future, the FW-190A-8/R2
will be able to carry them, as well as Wgr 21 210mm unguided rockets on their release also.
 
2. To install, drop the FW190A-8R2 folder in your Objects/Aircraft folder. Then open the " Items You
Need To Add To... " folder and follow the instructions included in the readme there.
 
3. Special thanks goes to Wolf257 for allowing me to mod his "Baby", & Gramps for graciously allowing
me to use his JG300 skin.

Mod of original 3rd Wire O-1 to earlier 1950s era L-19 Birddog. Includes all inis, and an OD Green skin. Imported/modified cockpit from P-39.

Modification of Wolf's F4U-1A into the -1D; adds necessary hardpoints and weapons loads. New skin for VBF-10 off USS Intrepid, during the Okinawa campaign. Dressed up insturment panel, and an extra 'fun' one too!

Ki-43IIb Hayabusa "Oscar" For SF/WoV/WoE WW2: PTO installs
 
This is a modification of Wolf257's Ki-43 into the later version, the IIb as used by the IJAAF.
 
This is a semi- complete aircraft mod, creating a new version for use in your World War 2: PTO installs ONLY!!
 
I say 'semi-complete', because pursuant to Wolf's wishes, the aircraft LOD file is NOT included (you'll have to transfer it over from the exisiting Ki-43 --make sure it's Wolf's Ki-43, NOT ArmourDaves!!. Almost everything else is included; all the inis, an new skin, hangar screen and my damage tgas as well. The cockpit itself is NOT included, as you'll be using the one from AD's A6M5 Zero.
 
The skin represents 204 Sentai, in the Home Defense role circa 1944-to the end of the war. I've redrawn all the panel lines, added my 'interperative' rivet lines (meaning no claims to accuracy are made!), simulated fabric control surfaces and dirtied it up some. As this is a natural metal skin, it has no worn-off green camo. Individual aircraft numbers are 'best guess' based on a few profiles. Therefore, no accuracy is claimed for those as well.
 
PLEASE read the enclosed readme for fully detailed, step-by-step install instructions, plus commentaries and general explanitory notes.

INSTALLATION :
 
1. Drop the folders called "B-29B" and "Washington B.1"into your "Aircraft" directory.
( Strike Fighters/ Objects/Aircraft or Wings Over Vietnam/Objects/Aircraft )
 
2. Open the "Add To Sounds" folder and drop the two .wav files into your Sounds Folder.
 
3. You should have the most current weapons pack installed, as well as the latest patch.
( Strike Fighters SP3.1 standard, or WOV Patch 2 standard )

NOTES:
 
A. MontyCZ's original release of the B-29 was as an AI Only aircraft. There are reasons for this
in that SFP1 currently doesn't support heavy bombers targeting systems. However, sim pilots
( being what they are ) will want to take these birds for a spin. To this end, the config.ini
has been modified to use an A-4B cockpit, so these birds are flyable. The data.inis have been
modified so that the Copilot is not visible ( preventing the disconcerting image of the
copilot hanging out in space while you're flying ).
 
B. There are a number of minor errors: the Washington B.1's upper forward turret should have 4 .50s
visible instead of two barrels visible on the model. The extras guns are there in the data.ini.
The tail gun position on the B-29B should have the 20mm barrel showing ( it's in the data.ini ).
You have the extra guns, they just don't show.

ISSUES:
 
1. Monty's original release was AI only. I have adjusted the planes so that the A-4B cockpit can be used.
Currently, there is both a B-29 cockpit & a working bombsight mod in the works. Until such time as they
are released, consider the A-4B pit as a placeholder. You will need to enable the copilot to be seen in
the data.inis when you upgrade to a new cockpit.
2. On some terrains, the friendly airfields will not be long enough in order for the B-29s to take off. I
have changed the minimum base size from LARGE to MEDIUM in order for the B-29s to be compatable with more
terrains. This can be adjusted in the data.ini by changing this line :
 
MinBaseSize=MEDIUM
 
You can change the base size by replacing MEDIUM with either LARGE, or SMALL.

Blackburn Baffin, pre-war Royal Navy torpedo bomber. Skins for three squadrons and custom cockpit.

The AT-6D Texan is now available for download. This model was used by the Mosquito FACs early during the Korean War.
 
I don't have many references for this aircraft so I only included a generic skin. Templates are available for download if you wish to give it better markings.

The P-47 Thunderbolt is among the greatest fighter-bombers ever built, and contributed immeasurably to the Allied victory in WWII. The N model was the final production model and served with Air National Guard units into the 1950s.

The P-51 Mustang is one of the great fighters of all time. It was the premier escort fighter of World War II, guarding bombers on missions deep into Germany and back, and was pressed into service again in Korea, this time in the ground attack role. This version of the P-51D for SFP1 includes a new flight model by Wolf-257.

This is first public version of famous B-29 Superfortress plane for Strike Fighters - officialy AI only. Enjoy it and please report bugs.
The first B-29 strike on a North Korean port took place on 13 July 1950. Within two months, FEAF Bomber Command had attacked all identified strategic targets in North Korea. The B-29 was also used for some close air support and tactical bombing missions....

This aircraft depicts a US Navy PB4Y-1. Special thanks to Pasko, Gramps, Starfighter and Kessekbrut for creating this beautiful Aircraft. Hope you guys enjoy.

This is a Sea Fury add-on for "Strike Fighters: Project 1" and "Wings Over Vietnam". The models included represent an FB.11 as used by the navies of the UK, Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands and the denavilised export version, Mk.50, which was externally identical to the FB.11, with the exception of the removal of the tailhook, and was used by Egypt, Cuba, Iraq, Pakistan, and Burma.
 
Included are Gramps's skins for a British FB.11 on HMS Glory and an Australian FB.11 on HMAS Sydney and my skins for a Canadian FB.11 from HMCS Magnificent and an Egyptian and Cuban Mk.50.
 
Thanks to Gramps for his skins and support, Charles for the flight model and cockpit, Wrench for the hanger screen, and Anthony for three-views.
