Strike Fighters 1 Series by Thirdwire

    1. Harrier Campaign V2.0

This is a fictional campaign, set in the stock terrain of Strike Fighters Project 1. It is set in 1978, as Paran tries to invade Dhimar. Dhimar is assisted by the U.S. Navy, operating from the USS Nimitz, and by the USMC, operating AV-8C’s from several small, makeshift airfields.

This campaign requires Strike Fighters: Project1. It was not tested with Strike Fighters Gold, but it should work.

A big thank you to everyone who allowed me to include their work in this Campaign. Special thanks to Whiteknight, who made skins specifically for this addon, and to Kesselbrut, who allowed me to include some of his objects from the upcoming Falklands Campaign. Finally, thanks to Kreelin for the great AV-8C flight model.

    2. FW-109A4, 6/JG2

Focke Wulf Fw-190 skin for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 Installs:

This is a new skin for Wolf257's Fw-190A4.

This skin represents Fw-190A4 from 6/JG2 in the 42/43 time frame in Western Europe/Occupied France.
It's a very basic, generic type skin as use during the time frame above. No special marking, just a very "Plane Jane" skin.

This, and all the other skins, can be used on any other versions of the 190, just edit the decals ini to point to the correct aircraft (also repeated in the readme)

The enclosed readme has simple, easy to follow instructions -- not much to, it's just as skin!

      Enjoy!

In April 1963 4° Aerobrigata was the first squadron in Italy to receive the Starfighters. Between 1962 and 1965 they kept the original paint scheme with bare aluminium fuselage and white anti-radiation upper wings. Alternatively also the upper fuselage was partially painted in white.

This skin is for the original Third Wire F-104G model only.

    10. Leeuwarden based KLu Hunter F.4 (mod)

This is one of several Fokker-built Hunters of the KLu. This one was one of several
stationed at airbase Leeuwarden and was part of 630 squadron when they were still
flying aircraft instead of doing airbase security.
It was essentially a F.4 on which the wings of the F.6 type were joined. these have dogtooth trailing edges.

      Enjoy this handsome one!

(Thanks Sundowner for the use of the basic Hunter skin!)

PS: This skin is to be used for AD's Hunter F.6, so NOT for the standard Hunter FGA in WOE!!

-As adviced by "Kirsten"I have enlarged the squadron logo to be more in proper proportions with the real thing!-

    14. MiG-17A & C flight models

These are flight dynamics (Flight Model, FM, etc.) files ONLY. They do not contain models, skins, cockpits, or any other files, other than the FM itself.

They were developed using Kreelin's AeroConvert, and data from the USAF's "Have Doughnut" tac evaluation, performed in 1969.

The FM's are somewhat of a compromise, in that, while they are tailored to both mimic the real aircraft's performance in turn rate, sustained G, landing and takeoff speeds,(etc.) as much as possible, they do not impose unreasonable limits on the aircraft under AI control.

In short, their stall behavior is somewhat benign, yet, they can enter an almost unrecoverable spin, if you insist on flying them in a ham-fisted manner.

The only issue I have with them, is one imposed upon me by time-constraints. And that is, I feel that they are about 25-30 knots too slow when flying just above sea-level, at full military power (not in afterburner).

    15. FW-190A5 Upgrade Pak

Focke Wulf Fw-190A5 Upgrade Package for SF, WoV & WoE WW2 ETO/SWOTL Installs:

This is a re-paint and rebadging of original Fw-190A5, with completly redrawn rivet and panel lines. Wolf was always good about giving us the templates with his birds, and I've put this one to VERY good use.

This skin represents Fw-190A5s from 3/JG2 in the 43/44 time frame in Western Europe/Occupied France (you know, about the time of D-Day). I make NO claims to historical accuracy; I have just enough knowledge of Luftwaffe camo & markings to get into trouble (but I'm getting better!), and I'm sure there are much more educated folks out there on the subject.

I -have- tried to make it as accurate as possible, even to getting the proper RLM colors added to my swatch list. As best I could, I even added the little warning placards around the fuselage, wings and tail. Along with the 'eagle head' shape over the fuselage. Included is the nose art for aircraft #13, as flown by 'Pips' Priller.

This is a complete package, replacing the original data, loadout, cockpit and main inis, due to several modifications I've effected. There are even new hangar and loading screens, 2 of each to choose from (one just being a revamp of my original). These screens can be used on any version of the Butcher Bird.

This skin can also be used on any other versions of the FW-190, just edit the decals ini to point to the correct mark

---- Please note you MUST have the latest Weapons Pack for the WW2 Axis weapons ----
      (but you probably already do!!)

    18. Spanish Air Force F-4C

Spanish Phamtoms are a very emblematic aircraft from Spanish Air Force. Commenced its arrive to Spain in 1971 as replace of F-104G´s and for giving Spanish Air Force a modern Combat aircraft equal in performances and combat capacities to that in service at the moment in other countries. Finally were second hand F-4C´s, instead of F-4E´s pretended. Last of them was in service until 1991, with the F/A-18A Hornet full operative in Spain. RF-4C´s operated until 2002. All the time and only Phamtom served in Ala 12, in Torrejon, Madrid, Spain. Numbers for all Spanish Phamtom included.

    20. ALCMs (AGM-86B and C)

      Version 1.0

      Thanks to the following folks:

TK - For the ThirdWire series of sims.
Bunyap and Wpnssgt - For the original Weapons Pack.
Cylix - For the original ALCM for SFP1.
Mustang - For the great video tutorials.
Capun - For helping me fix the ALCM animation issues...I owe you one!
To my fellow Combatace moderators - For helping me beta test and work out bugs.
Any errors or mistakes are entirely mine.

      What you will need first:

      Bunyap's Weapon's Pack - http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=2672

      Nuclear Weapons Effects - http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autom...p;showfile=5271

      Thirdwire Weapons Editor - http://www.thirdwire.com/downloads_tools.htm

Copy of SFP1/WOE/WOV patched to the latest standard (as of 22 Sep 07)

      Notes and limitations:

Aircraft weapons stations must have NUC,CGR to be able to carry a nuclear ALCM, and EOGR to carry the convential ALCM. The nuclear ALCM uses INS guidance, and the conventional ALCM is GPS/INS (similiar to JDAMs).

Paint schemes are notational...I wasn't ever able to determine the actual paint scheme for real ALCMs. Most pictures I saw were of display models or test articles. The nuclear ALCM paint scheme is based on pics I saw of ALCMs on B-52s in the older Euro Camo scheme. The conventional scheme is based on ALCMs I saw on racks on newer Gunship Grey B-52s...basically all over solid grey with no external markings.

The ThirdWire sim engine does not support terrain following profiles. So these missiles will basically fly a straight line in a slow altitude decrease. So either launch them high...or make sure there aren't any mountains in the way... Also, because they come in at such a shallow angle due to their range...accuracy is an issue.

The nuclear explosive yield (for the AGM-86B) was direct caluation (300Kt x 100 (kilo) x 2000 (ton))...but doesn't seem destructive enough. Tweak if you want.

I have included a B-52G_DATA.INI and a B-52G_LOADOUT.INI modified to change the B-52G into an ALCM carrier. This will OVERWRITE your B-52G_DATA.ini weapon stations and B-52G_LOADOUT.INI. SO BACKUP THOSE FILES FIRST!!!! Be advised, because the visual model doesn't have the right external rails, and the internal bombbay is not the right size, you will see some visual anomalies. But only if you look real close...:). Also, ALCMs that are mounted at an angle will 'fly' at an angle after launch...this is a limitation on how the TW engine treats missiles.

This is FREEWARE only, NO money is allowed to be made on the contents of these files, in whole or in part.

Feel free to redistribute, as long as the original authors are given appropriate credit.

    23. Ju-87T (KM) North Atlantic 2-tone gray Splinter camo

North Atlantic 2-Tone Gray Camo for KM Ju-87T Stuka

Another skin for my "What If..." carrier based Ju-87T, which is modded from Pasko's original Stuka. It represents a fictional North Atlantic 2-tone Gray.

Since there exists NO available templates to reskin ANY of Pasko's birds (or at least none I could find), I had to use his original splinter camo as a base for this (see the original readme for the Ju-87T). What I wound up doing is creating a multi-layer psd file for the needed skin bmps, and redrawing every single panel and rivet line.
So, all credit goes to the original skin creator, whoever that might be; but...
This is a NEW skin (albeit based off stock), from a NEW template, created by ME!!! And let me tell ya, re-drawing all those little buggers is a real PITA!!!

Please read the readme for install instructions and perhaps some notes of interest, in particular about the unit badge decals.

Another skin for my "What If..." carrier based Bf-109T10, modded from Wolf257's original G10. It represents a fictional North Atlantic Gray (ish) swirly pattern, superimposed over the splinter. The splinter has been lightly painted over, so it still should 'bleed' through. The (fictional) squadron represented is JGM100, same as that which came in the Bf-109T10 mod.
