      F-4E Phantom Edwards AFB

I always liked the white / red Edwards AFB aircrafts,
so i did this quick skin for Volker´s F-4E_72

You must have Ravenclaw_007´s USAF F-4E (F-4E_72) pack installed,
elsewise this mod does not work.

    7. KC-135 Skinpack 2: Post Vietnam (1975-1987)

      USAF KC-135 Skinpack 2: 1974 through 1987
This skin pack will feature skins for all USAF KC-135 users from 1974 until 1987. This includes the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves as the aircraft became available.
Requirements: any version of Strike Fighters 2, and the KC-135 mod found here
      Installation:
first, get the Mirage Factory C-135A/B and KC-135A/E/R 1.0 from the above link (if you dont have it already)
then unzip this to the mod folder, allowing overwrites.

      Known Issues:
this is meant as eye candy. unfortunately, SF2 doesnt support air to air refueling so the best to be done is set up a recon mission and then park it in an orbit.
Also, Dels C-130 pit does not line up with the model very well. it is included mainly so that it can be player selected (i had to test it somehow).
In the skins with ADC tgas, loading more than 8 aircraft on a mission will produce irregularities (like only the front half of the camo showing). So far I have not seen more than 8 on a ramp, and it is doubtful you need to load more than that in one area for a mission. Just be warned if you throw all 16 in at once.
BTW, this thing is huge!!! over 3 1/2 GB size
      So, Whats Included?:
Skins with at least two examples from every USAF unit to fly the KC-135 from 1974 - 1987, with separate skins for Active Duty and reserve forces
Colors represented include silver lacquer, ADC gray, and Shamu dark grey over medium grey.
Skins from 1987 have a mix of Shamu and ADC grey colors as tga. Same skin, two different paint jobs
Skins from 1983-1985 have a mix of ADC grey and silver lacquer colors. Skins from the 1970s are all silver lacquer and minimal tail markings
Engines on the A models were adjusted to produce heavy smoke at max thrust. Burning water, just like the real thing.
Drogue to simulate refueling probe equipped aircraft. Added in loadout screen
      Credits-
          Bpao- original aircraft and skin
          Dave- original aircraft lead
Dels- cockpit used to make flyable
daddyairplanes- research, ini edits, tga work, skin refinement

allenjb42- tech assistance with the basket work

    8. KC-135 Skinpack 3: Late 1980s

      USAF KC-135 Skinpack 3: Late 1980s
This skin pack will feature skins for all USAF KC-135 users from the late 1980s. This includes the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves. Many of the skins serials and nose arts are the same as in ODS, which the aircraft would participate in a few years after this period. This also represents the era that the Shamu scheme became more common and that nose art made a comeback on USAF aircraft.
      Requirements:

    10. SF2 VF-51 F-4B & F-4N Phantom (Mytai) Skin/Decal Pak

      SF2 VF-51 F-4B & F-4N Phantom (Mytai) Skin/Decal Pak                  7/14/2018
      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) and/or SF2:V + DLC 23 =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the F-4B_67 which is stock in all merged installs.  You =MUST= also have DLC #23, the 3rd Wire F-4N Phantom.
This package contains 3 revamped & updated skins, now for SF2, originally created by Mytai01 in 2005(ish) for SF1. These skin represent VF-51 "Screaming Eagles" deployed to Southeast Asia during Vietnam War cruises. This skins are:
      F-4B_67:
VF-51 (1971) embarked aboard USS CORAL SEA (NL code)
      VF-51 (1973) -same as above
      F-4N (DLC #23):
      VF-51 (1974) -same as above

The differences are various paint schemes, and include both CAG and line birds. All 3 skins are new builds, from Sundowner's template. The skins are in jpg format. All decals from the original Mytai pack have been reused. The dates listed are for the deployment years. The SF2 "date switch" is =NOT= used on these skins.
When on the load out screen, on the skin selection widow, you'll see:
      F-4B_67:
      VF-51 Screaming Eagles 71 (Mytai)
      VF-51 Screaming Eagles 73 (Mytai)
      F-4N:
      VF-51 Screaming Eagles 74 (Mytai)
As VF-51 is a stock, listed squadron, this will help diferentiate these from 'generic' 3W skins. It also honors Mytai for his work in creating them so long ago.
Decal randomization has been set to "TRUE". Included are "newish" data inis for both aircraft. The data inis now incorporate manually operating (meaning: you, the player can now) wingfold and canopy operation. Both use the Standard Animations Keystrokes (tm), Shift/9 for wings and Shift/0 (zero) for the canopy.
Also included, within each skin folder, are all of Mytai's original research material that came with the 1stGen Package. This inlcudes photos and other text files.
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them ....
Remember!! You must have DLC #23 to gain access to the F-4N!!
      Happy Landings!

    11. A-1H USMC DECAL.ini Corrections

Just a quick errata sheet for the USMC Skyraider skins I released last month, I just noticed a glaring error, ie I had misnumbered the decals in the decal.ini on 3 of the skins I uploaded that is for VMA212 - 251 - 333 causing the tail numbers to be errr rather truncated on the right side of the fin.....ooops !!
So, here are the 3 corrected decal.ini's for the relevant skins, just rename them ie just delete the names I have put on them for reference, and rename EACH one "Decals" and drop them into the relevant skin folder and allow it to over write the existing decal.ini file if you didnt delete it first of course, oh yes, I had also forgotten to enable the prop decals on those 3 skins so that has been rectified as well.
Totally my bad here, I shall be having strong words with my quality control department , apologies for the error , silly me !!

    13. A-1H Skyraider USMC Pack

This is another rework of the available A-1H  Skyraider skins, this time for USMC A-1's same details as the previous upload for the USN versions. 3 of which are generic USMC airframes, the bu numbers etc are also generic as not many A1's were in use with the Marines in Vietnam as most of the squadrons had re equipped with A4's by then.

      included are
      VMA 212 generic
      VMA 225
      VMA 251 generic
      VMA 331
      VMA 333
the reworked data.ini to stop the clipping issue
      Decals
      All the Sounds needed
      weapons
Pilot ( a different one from the USN one )
lo res screens if you need them
as with the previous skins I have re-enabled the wingfold system, and the canopy so the usual shift-9 for the wings and shift-0 for the canopy

Enjoy, fly safe, and give 'em hell.

    14. A-1H Skin Pack

This is a rework of the available A-1H  Skyraider skins, the project started when I noticed there was a clipping issue on the original user made skins, after the stock aircraft had been made flyable etc. being an OCD sufferer I couldn't live with it, so I had to comb the DATA.INI of the aircraft to find the issue, which I never didi, probably one number out of place , or something of that nature. So I re did the whole data file, using a frankenstien of a couple of the available ones, mainly Wrench's , so worry ye not good campers, very little has been altered, so the A/C still operates as Wrench intended, just NO CLIPPING !!! ................YAY !! RESULT !! HAPPY BLOODY DANCE !! ......

Anyhow, I then went on to re do all the skins, utilising the templates from bot Wrench, and Nyghtfall, so a mix and match of those as well, I hope you like and enjoy the results !!
      Included are
      VA-35
VA-52 ( two versions, one dirty one clean , the clean one has new decals for the squadron markings made by me )
      VA-65 (Early version )
      VA-65 ( USS Enterprise )
      VA-85
      VA-105 ( A really shiny pristine skin )
      VA-176 (USS Shangri La )
      VA-176 (USS Intrepid)
the reworked data.ini to stop the clipping issue
Decals ( of course....no use without 'em as I have altered theDECAL.INI of all the skins , 'cos I like to make trouble harharhar )
      All the Sounds needed
Finally the weapons ie drop tanks and the bog bomb, and the Pilot I myself use for this aircraft, oh yes and all the screens, both in hi res, and lo res if you need lo res screens for any reason.
One final note, on the  VA-176 ( Intrepid ) skin, two of the aircraft have kill markings, I have put the entry to enable those in the DECAL.INI of that particular aircraft, however I have them disabled, as in reality the Bu Numbers of the skins and the Actual aircraft are not the same, and I couldnt be bothered to make the correct bu numbers for thos 2 particular aircraft, however if you do not have OCD, and you want the marking showing ( they are keyed to the correct nose numbers ) the just remove the hash marks in the DECAL.INI
      [Decal019]
      MeshName=Fuselage
      DecalLevel=2
      DecalFacing=LEFT
      //FilenameFormat=A-1H/VA176a/D/kills    <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< THAT THERE !!!
      Position=-0.70,0.70
      Scale=0.55
      DecalMaxLOD=3
Thats about it, please enjoy, and please leave feedback if you like...........................cheers !!

OH yes, I forgot one last thing, I have re-enabled the wingfold system, , yes , yes I know its not perfect, as it leaves the stores hanging in a weightless environment, but hey ho, if ya dont like it, eith re disable it or , simply ignore it !! so canopy opens with SHIFT-0 and the wingfold is SHIFT-9.

    16. Mirage IIIO SEA Camouflage

      Overview
TW's Mirage IIIO DLC with a SEA camouflage scheme based on the scheme used by the Mirage 5BAs of the Belgian Air Force. I did it because I never found the European camouflage on the Mirages to be all that sensible for Australia, the SEA scheme looks like a better fit.
The skins are entirely generic, just the camouflage scheme, so it can fit any nation. No markings are provided, only decals are used. You must have the Mirage IIIO DLC for the RAAF decals. All the decal inis are taken straight from the Mirage IIIO DLC.
The skins should work for any Mirage IIIE derivative. There were some changes to panel lines and lights for the Mirage IIIO, so the texture for the nose does not precisely fit the Mirage IIIC. That said, I can make a nose texture for the M3C if asked. Simple enough. The template used was Ludo's Mirage IIIC DLC template.
      Provided
SEA Skins for Mirage IIIO(A), IIIO(F), and IIIO(F/A) Installation
Copy contents of the "To Mod Folder" folder into your mod folder.  Credits

    17. Skin Pack for TMF Boeing 707-300

      TMF Boeing 707-300 Comprehensive Skinpack
This mod will replace the individual skins for the TMF 707 and adds my multi airline skins to it, covering the eras from the early 1960s until the late 1980s and will add some eye candy to your parking ramps or make for interesting intercept and escort targets
          INSTALLATION
This is only a skin pack with some additional items. First you will need the original located here:
then unzip and add this mod as well. allow overwrites.
You can delete the previous skins if you want, as they are represented in the skin pack
IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN NATIONS.INI, ADD FROM THE GIVEN TEXT FILE. This is for heavily modded installs
          INCLUDED
Decal sets covering most major users from 1959 until 1989
Skins to cover that time period in 9 blocks, with bare metal base skins
Nations and Formations ini for the "Airline" nation
          KNOWN ISSUES
Number 1:  THIS THING IS BIG! the fuselage tgas are 2048x2048 (working with details over an entire fuselage rather than basic colors
and curves) and the biggest sets are representing 32 airlines in their era! So this is not for the small of HDD space
Number 2: Due to quirks in the model, and ease for the modder it is not 100% aligned as in RL. the cabin windows are a little lower (which
allowed the logos to go one easier), and the curves tend to stop short of the radome.
Number 3: this uses the Herc pit to be flyable. I ad it to be able to check the decals, but leave it for those that may want to use it.
The pit is a piss poor match however, both with frames blocking and the higher tech than available even into the 80s for civilian birds
It is meant as eye candy, not operational missions.
Number 4: due to the size of things, some of the lettering is not to legible when you get close to it. Again, eye candy, its meant to be seen
from the runway when taking off or on an intercept. If your that close to see "hey it really is fuzzy" you will probably collide. Besides, the
thing is huge as is at teh current tga size
          UNSOLICTED ADVICE
I am one of those that likes all encompassing mods. If you have a certain era you would rather focus on, by all means delete the other eras
that you don't need. Again this thing is huge, but covers almost every user from 1959 through 1989.

VA-305 "Lobos" based at NAS (now JFB) Los Alamitos *-see notes-*
      A-4F:
VC-7 "Tallyhoers" (or Redtails) based at NAS Miramar

Skins are brand new, from Nyghtfall's templates, and are in jpg format. Most markings are
decals, excepting certain squadron tags on the tail fin & rudder (VC-7 and/or fuselage bands
(VA-305).  These had to be painted on due to number-of-decals-per-mesh restrictions. All BuNums
are historiclly correct for aircraft used by both squardrons; unfortunately, they could not all
be matched to their corresponding Modex. On the Loadout screen's individual aircraft dropdown
listing, those marked with a star (*) are matched.
Also added, via Magical Ini Dancing (tm) are missile rails for the OUTBOARD pylons on the A-4F,
as is correct for all 5-hardpointed Skyhawks. These are added via the loadout ini through
various jiggery-pokery and at great expense. They are only used in the "Air-to-Air" tasking (and
Recon), and will/do not effect any Strike, CAS, Auntie-Ship or other attack missions.
These modification can also be added, using the same data ini edits, to all the A-4E and later
models. With some luck, they will =NOT= interfere with any of the Skyhawks released by
Nyghtfall. If in doubt, back up your original data and loadout inis before installing.
The canopy uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0.
When on the Loadout screen, for skin/squadron selection, on the Dropdown menu you'll see
      A-4C_65:
VA-305 Lobos (NAS Los Alamitos 70/71)
      A-4F:
      VC-7 Redtails (NAS Miramar 1973-80)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
them .... Also, DO give the Notes section a read as well, for enlightenments, illuminations, and
general ramblings. With MANY thanks to Nyghtfall for his invaluable assistance!!! :)

    20. SF2NA A-6E TRAM "Libyan Intruders"

      SF2NA A-6E (TRAM) Intruder, VA-34,VA-55,VA-85 Early Lo-Viz Skin/Decals Pack    2/15/2018
      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-6E_79 (aka: TRAM)*
3 new skins for the 3W A-6E_79 Intruder that depict the 3 squadrons that participated in the
"Freedom of Navigation" exercises in the Gulf of Sidra during 1986, and subsequent strikes
against various Libyan targets (El Dorado Canyon).
All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE.  All serial (BuAerNums) are correct as they
are for the A-6E, but should be considered Generic (tm) in nature, not representing specific
aircraft in any particular squadron. In fact, all 3 skins use them as a 'pool' of decals.
The Default Start Date switch is used on this skin, so in 1983, you should see only these. The
skin maps are new; The aircraft is finished in the 2-tone Compass Ghost Grey over Medium Grey
scheme, with subdued markings (black and light grey). The skins are in jpg format.
      The aircraft are:
      VA-34 Blue Blasters, USS AMERICA
      VA-55 Warhorses, USS CORAL SEA
      VA-85 Black Falcons, USS SARATOGA
As these are 'stock' squadrons in the 3rd Wire listing, Level=1 decals are used to activate the
squadron name display. This should make it easy for campaign builders to use them in user-made
campaigns or single missions (like on Menrva's new Libyan terrain).
Please note, =NOTHING= is included that makes the aircraft flyable; no inis, cockpit parts (I
use the Razbam payware pit on my A-6E & A-6E TRAMs). You should have made them flyable or need
to seek the "parts" on your own.
Also, if you have made it flyable, and use the "Read Only" trick on the main ini (A-6E_79.ini),
you'll have to un-read only it to add this skin.
While specificly designed for the A-6E_79, this mod =should= be compatible with the A-6 Intruder
MegaPack by Homefries; the skins use unique squadron named folders and should not conflict or
interfere with it (even though said squadrons also exist in his pack, as Level=1 statments,
selectable from the Squadron Dropdown on the Loadout screen). Please note the "1983" start date
is an arbitrary year, based on my research as a "best guess".
On the Loadout Screen, for skin selection you'll see:
      VA-34 Blue Blasters (2-Tone 1983)
      VA-55 Warhorses (2-Tone 1983)
      VA-85 Black Falcons (2-Tone 1983)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read
      them ....

    21. SF2 A-4B Skyhawk VA-12 Skin/Decals Pack

      SF2 A-4B Skyhawk VA-12 Skin/Decals Pack              2/25/2018
      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4B*
A new skin for the A-4B Skyhawk. The skin included is for:
      VA-12 Flying Ubangis ,
as embarked aboard USS Shangri-la (CVA-38), in the North Atlantic & Mediterranean circa 1960/61
Skins remain in their "as issued via 3W" stock bmp format. Most markings are decals, excepting certain squadron color tags on the rudder and fuselage.  These had to be painted on, simply because it was much easier. There are 24 Modex numbers and serial numbers (BuNums). BuNums are historiclly correct; unfortunately, they could not be matched to their corresponding Modex.
When on the Loadout screen, for skin/squadron selection, on the Dropdown menu you'll see
      VA-12 Flying Ubangis (1960/61)

    22. SF2 A-4E (67) Skyhawk VA-45 Skin/Decals Pack

      SF2 A-4E (67) Skyhawk VA-45 Skin/Decals Pack              1/25/2018
      = For SF2 (Any & All, Full-5 Merged Prefered) =
*Can be used in any install that has access to the A-4E_67*
A new skin for the A-4E (67) Skyhawk. Also included, are a modified Data and loadout inis, correcting/adding to the Mission tasking, loadouts, Player operated manual canopy, and the landing light. Several new parts are included that correct and add the missing outer Sidewinder rails.
      The skin included is for:
      VA-45, Det.1
embarked aboard USS INTREPID circa 1972-73, in the North Atlantic & Mediterranean as part of CVSG-56.
Skins remain in their "as issued via 3W" stock bmp format. Most markings are decals, excepting certain squadron tags on the rudder.  These had to be painted on due to number-of-decals-per-mesh restrictions. There are 18 Modex numbers and serial numbers (BuNums). VA-45's BuNums are historiclly correct; unfortunately, they could not be matched to their corresponding Modex.
Also added, via Magical Ini Dancing (tm) are missile rails for the OUTBOARD pylons, as is correct for all 5-hard-pointed Skyhawks. These are added via the loadout ini through various magical transformations and incantations. They are only used in the "Air-to-Air" tasking (and Recon), and will/do not effect any Strike, CAS, Auntie-Ship or other attack missions.
These modification can also be added, using the same data ini edits, to all the A-4E and later models. A lightened and brightened gunsight tga is also included for those of us with weaker eyes.

Historically speaking, these A-4 squadrons (and/or detachments) were assigned to the Essex class carriers that had been convered to "CVS" or anti-submarine warfare carriers. The Skyhawks embarked were not only tasked with light strike, but Combat Air Patrols to protect the ship and the ASW assets.
The canopy uses the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0.
When on the Loadout screen, for skin/squadron selection, on the Dropdown menu you'll see
      VA-45 Blackbirds Det 1 (CVS-11 1972-3)
As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them .... Also, DO give the Notes section a read as well, for enlightenments, illuminations, and general ramblings. With MANY thanks to Nyghtfall for his invaluable assistance!!! :)
