STRIKE FIGHTER 2: AVIONICS COMMUNITY PACK (SF2: ACP) v0.4
      ----------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to SF2: ACP first release of alpha.  Before I explain about the pack, I want to express big thank to the wonderful communities and modders of Combatace and Combat Flight Sim Tavern (Discord), including Thirdwire for the simulation.
You all are the reasons why this pack exists.  I want to use the passions to improve SF2 into next level with avionics.
This requires a lot of research, reading flight manual, and tons of tweaking the texture, and avionics and cockpit ini, along with countless of testing in-flight in SF2.
The mods is not perfect, we do our best with the mods.  We do it with the joys of our hobbies!
This pack includes the following features:
      - New gunsight / optical sight
      - New texture for radar, RWR, and another avionic equipment
      - Improved cockpit and radar through cockpit and avionics ini tweaks for semi-realism (See note #2)
      - Improves glass texture (If possible)
      - Accessibility - Optional, includes the AAM firing cue on gunsight for people who can not hear the sounds of missile locking on targets.
      - Improved night lights inside cockpits
      - Tweaks to the view angle around cockpit
NOTE #1: As mentioned in note #1, due to little resources (Information / data) on early cold war era radar, at least half or most of tweaks are based on an educated guess. For exampe, AN/APG-33 radar that is used with E-1 FCS in F-89B and C, there are some data on it, but no data on elevator nor azimuth angle limitation.

      ----------------------------------------------------------
      ----------------- HISTORICAL VS FICTIONAL ----------------
      ----------------------------------------------------------
Avionics overhaul for Historical vs fictional aircraft
I am dong overhaul for both historical and 'what if' fictional aircraft.
For example, in this alpha version, there are avionics overhaul for F-8A to F-8K, along with France F_8s.  It also includes 'what if' JASDF F-8EJ Crusader.
      ----------------------------------------------------------
      ---------------------- INSTALLATION ----------------------
      ----------------------------------------------------------
There are readme inside each aircraft folder, please read the instruction to install the mods.
NOTE: There is a folder "_OPTIONAL - RWR", by default, RWR always have texture.  If you want TW style version of RWR, you can replace the RWR with the provided RWR texture from that folder.
      ----------------------------------------------------------
      ------------- GUNSIGHT / OPTICAL SIGHT SYSTEM ------------
      ----------------------------------------------------------
The new version of SF - CAP now have new gun system (texture and MILs)
From now on, all guns have texture of 512 x 512, which is 150 MILs.
In order, to use the new gunsight / optical sight, you MUST set MILs to 150 in cockpit.ini or ImageSize=0.2025 in avionics (HUD)
When I created the optical sights, I measured the MILs of gunsight by pixels
      For example
512 pixel width is 150 MILs
      For example:
      For 100 / 50 / 25 MILs, it is 341 / 171 / 85 pixels

      ----------------------------------------------------------
      ------------------- TEMPLATES SITUATION ------------------
      ----------------------------------------------------------
Due to steer size of projects, I am more focused on creating texturs for avionics overhaul.  It is taking a lot of my time and I rather to focus and finish the projects in time.
Therefore, from SF - CAP v0.4 onward, it no longer have TEMPLATE folder. And to add, with the new gunsight / optical sight, it requires new templates too.
However, if any of you want the templates for certain aircraft's avoinics, you can contact me by posting in SF - CAP thread or PM me in CombatAce.
I can clean up the mess in the templates and send it to you to use for modding SF2.
      ----------------------------------------------------------

    2. JASDF F-4EJ cockpit pack
      includet in this pack are
F-4EJ_72_cockpit F-4EJ_85_cockpit this cockpits will only work with the F-4EJ pack i made , here is the link to this aircrafts   https://combatace.com/files/file/14263-f-4ej/
this cockpits will not work with the TW F-4EJ DLC06  , at least not with out a lot of rework and repositioning
to install just drop the content of the F-4EJ_72 and F-4EJ_85 folders in to the respective aircraft folders and let overwrite if ask to

i hope i got everything right this time and the cockpits will work for you as they should

    3. F-4D Cockpit Pack
      includet in this pack are
F-4D cockpit F-4D_67 cockpit F-4D_71 cockpit ( full aircraft folder ) F-4D_75 cockpit F-4D_78 cockpit weapons pack  nuclear effects for B61 and Walley Mk6 ( only in case you dont have this files ) if you have the BETA cockpits for testing than PLEASE delete them before you install the new ones , to install just drop the files in to the respective aircraft folder
i corrected the existing position lights and added the missing position lights as well as the landing lights , i also addet the cockpit open/close function and the functioning arresting hook , the top fuselage position light ( behind the cockpit ) is more or less on the right position ( i did not change this position ) but the texture for it on the skin is on the wrong position , maybe somebody can come up with some new and corrected skins for this F-4D aircraft
NOTE:  the files includet in the Effects folder are only in case you dont have them , if you have this files than there is no need to install them again , the files are neede to have the nuclear effects for the B61 bombs and the Walley Mk6
NOTE: Before installing the new weapons i strongly recomend to delet or remove the existing ones with the same name as the new ones ( i know that this is time consuming but this way you make sure that this weapons work as they should )
i made a lot of test with the cockpits and the changed data.ini´s and loadout.ini´s if there are still problems please let me know

      have fun , ravenclaw_007

    4. This is a visual (only) improvement of the F3H Demons cockpits.
I offer a visual (only to improve the look) improvement "as is" based on photos and other data (in fact, this aircraft had different panels in different versions, radars etc., so this topic actually requires deep development).
      What's inside:
      1. Improved central panel texture
      2. Improved radar texture
      Installation:
      1. Make a backup of your files
      2. Delete (!!) your cockpit and avionics files, as well as your Cockpit folder (all mod panels in JPG format)
      3. Place the Cockpit folder cockpit and avionics files in your aircraft folders (check the names if necessary, rename the cockpit and
avionics files to your names (look at the names in your backup)

    5. Here is a (decent) repaint of the supplied Kesselbrut's Mosquito cockpit for use in Veltro2K's Ju88's. Again, I made it for my personal use but maybe the five of us (me, Kev and other kindred spirits) who still use SF2 to sim WW2 can get some use out of it.
Made for SF2, it's the needed bmp's, one tga, and the cockpit.ini file ONLY. I wasn't happy with the way some of the gauges were presenting, so I've made some changes.
The cockpit textures are 2048x2048, in the old days we didn't have the horsepower to run such large cockpit textures, but those days are long gone. Resize them if you do experience any problems.
Not 100% accurate, there's always compromises that have to be made, but it is what it is, I have done my best.
      INSTALLATION:
Copy and paste the bmp's and tga from this file into your V2K Ju88 cockpit folder. Place the cockpit.ini in the main aircraft folder. Back up the corresponding original files in case you want to revert.
      That's it.
Note that although this is made for the Ju88C, it will work in any of Veltro's Ju88's, and I guess you could use it any any German twin engine bomber without a decent cockpit.
      CREDITS:
       - Veltro2K for the Ju-88 and for the HUGE range of WW2 and later aircraft you have done for us. Much appreciated!
       - Kesselbrut for another one of his great cockpits. I hope you're doing well wherever you are Daniel.
       - Veltro advises the cockpit was modded by Capun for use in German aircraft, thanks to Capun for that work!
       - CombatAce for being a bastion of Strike Fighters for these many. many years.
       - TK for creating SFP1 and SF2 for all of us to enjoy.

    6. Here is a (strangely done) repaint of Geo's He-162 cockpit for use in his He-162 Volksjager. As usual, I made it for my personal use but maybe the five of us (me, Kev and other kindred spirits) who still use SF2 to sim WW2 can get some use out of it.
Made for SF2, it's the needed bmp's AND TGA's ONLY. This was a strange one in that most of the panel gauges are TGA's. Had to learn how to do them again :(
The cockpit textures are 2048x2048, in the old days we didn't have the horsepower to run such large cockpit textures, but those days are long gone. Resize them if you do experience any problems.
Not 100% accurate, there's always compromises that have to be made, but it is what it is, I have done my best.
      INSTALLATION:
Copy and paste the bmp's and tga's from this file into your He162 cockpit folder. Back up the corresponding original files in case you want to revert.
      That's it.
      CREDITS:
       - Geo for the He-162, all in one mod. I hope you're doing well wherever you are George.

    7. Here is a (so-so) repaint of Kesselbrut's Me-262 cockpit for use in Veltro2K's Me-262's. Again, I made it for my personal use but maybe the five of us (me, Kev and other kindred spirits) who still use SF2 to sim WW2 can get some use out of it.
Made for SF2, it's the needed bmp's ONLY.

I HIGHLY recommend you get any of Julio Junqueira's excellent 109 pits and grab the optional pilot legs and drop them in your 190. They work fine and I'm sure you have them already. You should.
      INSTALLATION:
Copy and paste the bmp's from this file into your V2K 262 cockpit folder. Back up the corresponding original files in case you want to revert.
      That's it.

    8. Here is a (decidedly average) repaint of Torno's FW-190 cockpit for use in his excellent range of Fw-190's. I made it for my personal use but maybe the five of us (me, Kev and other kindred spirits) who still use SF2 to sim WW2 can get some use out of it.
Made for SF2, it's the needed jpg's ONLY.
Which 190 is it? Well, I started with the A as a basis but you can use it in any of Torno's beautiful Wurgers. The one here is the one featuring "moar gunz" - of course.
Not 100% accurate, there's always compromises that have to be made, but it is what it is.
      INSTALLATION:
Copy and paste the jpg's from this file into your 190 (of whatever flavor) cockpit folder. Back up the corresponding original files in case you want to revert.
      That's it.
      CREDITS:
       - TORNO for the great range of Fw-190's. Excellent work amigo. Torno's work is for CombatAce ONLY, these are NOT to appear elsewhere.
       - CombatAce for being a bastion of Strike Fighters for these many. many years.
       - TK for creating SFP1 and SF2 for all of us to enjoy.
