  1. He-162 Cockpit repaint for Geo's Volksjager Cockpit

Here is a (strangely done) repaint of Geo's He-162 cockpit for use in his He-162 Volksjager. As usual, I made it for my personal use but maybe the five of us (me, Kev and other kindred spirits) who still use SF2 to sim WW2 can get some use out of it.
Made for SF2, it's the needed bmp's AND TGA's ONLY. This was a strange one in that most of the panel gauges are TGA's. Had to learn how to do them again :(
The cockpit textures are 2048x2048, in the old days we didn't have the horsepower to run such large cockpit textures, but those days are long gone. Resize them if you do experience any problems.
Not 100% accurate, there's always compromises that have to be made, but it is what it is, I have done my best.
    INSTALLATION:
Copy and paste the bmp's and tga's from this file into your He162 cockpit folder. Back up the corresponding original files in case you want to revert.
    That's it.
    CREDITS:
     - Geo for the He-162, all in one mod. I hope you're doing well wherever you are George.
     - CombatAce for being a bastion of Strike Fighters for these many. many years.
     - TK for creating SFP1 and SF2 for all of us to enjoy.

  2. Me-262 Cockpit repaint for Veltro2K's Me-262 - Kesselbrut's Cockpit

Here is a (so-so) repaint of Kesselbrut's Me-262 cockpit for use in Veltro2K's Me-262's. Again, I made it for my personal use but maybe the five of us (me, Kev and other kindred spirits) who still use SF2 to sim WW2 can get some use out of it.
Made for SF2, it's the needed bmp's ONLY.
The cockpit textures are 2048x2048, in the old days we didn't have the horsepower to run such large cockpit textures, but those days are long gone. Resize them if you do experience any problems.
Not 100% accurate, there's always compromises that have to be made, but it is what it is, I have done my best.
I HIGHLY recommend you get any of Julio Junqueira's excellent 109 pits and grab the optional pilot legs and drop them in your 190. They work fine and I'm sure you have them already. You should.
    INSTALLATION:
Copy and paste the bmp's from this file into your V2K 262 cockpit folder. Back up the corresponding original files in case you want to revert.
    That's it.
    CREDITS:
     - Veltro2K for the Me-262 and for the HUGE range of WW2 and later aircraft you have done for us. Much appreciated!
     - Kesselbrut for another one of his great cockpits. I hope you're doing well wherever you are Daniel.
     - CombatAce for being a bastion of Strike Fighters for these many. many     years.

  3. Su-35S cockpit by Insky, light update

A light overhaul of old Su-35S cockpit by Insky. Sadly, it is of lower fidelity than Su-27SKM cockpit from YeYeYe which is often used for modern Su-27 derivatives, but it follows the general layout of Su-35S cockpit and is worth a try. Updated textures, sorted out various indication and HUD, some other small fixes.
It is tailored for Su-35S by GKAB, but could be adapted for any other aircraft.
Caution: there is no "launch authorized" indication on the HUD, not possible to add it with resources I have - it will be displayed on the radar.
Real Su-35 pipes both radar and RWR information straight to the HUD, which is not possible to recreate in SF2 engine - so we have what we have.
To install, delete original files in Su-35 folder and put new ones inside

  5. MiG-25 cockpit fixes (actual MiG-25 cockpit by Centurion-1)

MiG-25PD cockpit by Centurion-1 with fixes
    Notable fixes include:
    - removed gunsight. 25 doesn't really need it, most of the footage shows 25s without gunsight
    - fixed G-meter: added negative Gs and redid the layout to be more in line with the real thing
    - original model actually had airspeed indicator and altimeter confused - this was corrected. Altimeter is above (shorter needle shows thousands, longer hundreds, plus analogue counter), airspeed indicator is below (likewise - shorter needle shows thousands, longer hundreds)
    - fixed vertical velocity indicator. It wasn't working due to "values" being put in the wrong order (could be that it was working on older patches)
    - fixed compass and course arrow. They were calling non-existing nodes
    - added over-G and too much AoA lights above G-meter: not sure if realistic, but will do
    - added afterburner light near nozzle indicator
    - removed some lights and switch animations: they are cute, but very incorrect
    - MiG-25PD version gets new radar layout taken from MiG-23 radar: it makes sense as PD radar "Sapphire-25" was developed from "Sapphire-23" on MiG-23
    - can't do anything about warning lights and gear/flaps indicators not working - cockpit model just lacks any light nodes
    - added some labels on instruments
    ---------------
Install: remove old cockpit folder, *cockpit and *avionics files, drop in new ones, rename accordingly.
    Cockpit versions:
    25P - for MiG-25P
    25PD - for MiG-25PD/PDS
25PD uses avionics70 dll! Make sure to address it in the init file:
    AvionicsDLL=Avionics70.dll
25PD is tuned for MiG-25PD from Coyote Airspace. It is easily adaptable for older versions of PD/PDS, just change position values in *cockpit file.

  6. MiG-23 cockpit fixes

Correction of typos and misspelling for Stary's MiG-23 pit. Plus reworked the HUD a little.
All files converted to JPG to save space, it's 46mb now. Tuned for Mirage Factory MiGs, but could be used for stock ones with little tweaking.
    Some changes of HUD:
Removed unnecessary ПР (launch authorized) marks - now it will flash only when you are actually in range
Changed ОТВ (break) - now it will flash when you are too close
Removed РЛ/ТП marks - they make no sense as the game doesn't support IRST. Now you will have Р (for search), З (for lock), B (for air-combat mode)
Changed selected weapon display - now you will have type of weapon and amount remaining. Not really authentic but more useful
    Things I couldn't do:
can't fix RWR - can't copy working RWR from MiG-21MF cockpit
MiG-29 pit has authentic and working selected weapon display - can't copy that
can't add proper IRST - game doesn't support it. tried with non-launching heatseeker missile on hidden pylon, it could lock targets but not really useful for anything else
    Readme inside.

  7. Su-7/Su-17 cockpit variant + new cockpit for M4

Small package of cockpit improvements for Su-7/17
    -------
Su-7: cockpit by Stary - fixed misspelling and typos on labels, converted files to reduce size, fixed flaps/airbrake indicators, pilot's POV - nothing too drastic
    --------------
Su-17 - original cockpit for Su-17 looks old (judging by the files, it was made in 2003), here possible replacements:
First gen Su-17s (Su-17, Su-17M (Su-20), Su-17M1 (Su-22)) get aforementioned Su-7 pit. It fits fine considering the time period.
Second gen Su-17s (Su-17M3 (Su-22M, Su-22M3), Su-17M4 (Su-22M4)) get pit from Su-25. While not a fully accurate replacement, pits of those two jets do share a lot of similarities.
    Su-25K pit adapted for Su-17:
    - changed airspeed and Mach indicators
    - correct weapon stations indicators
Also fixed a couple of other problems:
    - original fuel indicator doesn't work - missing nodes; adapted former second engine exhaust temp indicator to show fuel quantity - it is in the lower right corner
    - altimeter missing hand for thousands (Soviet altimeters have two hands - one for hundreds, other for thousands) - just changed the single hand to show both with adapted altimeter texture
    -----------
Installation: remove old cockpit folder, cockpit_ and avionics_ files; drop in new files. new cockpit_ and avionics_ inis should be renamed accordingly to work properly
    ----------
Su-25K cockpit is taken from here:

  8. Cockpit Detailing for MF MiG-29

    Mirage Factory MiG-29 Cockpit Detailing

This mod will bring the MF MiG-29 a better look in the cockpit. The package includes reprocessed texture for all instruments, radar screen and wall.

    Installation
    ------------
    1. In case you may regret, back up your cockpit folder and avionics.ini in your MiG-29 directory
    2. Drop the cockpit folder to your MiG-29 directory, cover the files and folders as asked.
    3. The wall texture in the cockpit directory is 4x enlarged with bump texture and color tweak (which require unlimited setting in the cockpit texture setting to enjoy), if you are unhappy with the performance or look, replace with the file included in the "optional wall texture", that will give you flat walls closer to the real-world one although not as eye-candy.
    4. You might find the radar looks too bright and also want to replace with the radar texture in the "optional radar" folder, by dropping all 3 files and 1 folder to your cockpit folder. And then change the color of your radar character in your xxxx_avionics.ini

    find below section

    [RadarFont]

    Change the line
    Color= xxxxxx
    to
    Color=0.45,94,0.49,1.0

    then save and exit

  11. TW EE Lightning (All) Gunsight corrections

After michaelk's F.1 Cockpit Tweak uploaded recently I realised I never released my TW EE Lightning Gunsight corrections from 2020! So here you are:
So after reading the pilots notes for the F.1, F.2A and F.6 and looking at gunsight camera pictures it turns out the gun sights and event markers are all based off the Lightning F.53
    So here they are corrected:
    - F.1, F.1A, F.2, F.2A fitted with "Pilot Attack Sight"
    - F.3 fitted with "Light Fighter Sight Type 2 Mk. 2"
    - F.6  fitted with "Light Fighter Sight Type 2 Mk. 3"
To Install simply un-pack and drop into the 'objects' folder in your main mods folder.

Proper mods take a severe toll in my laptop, so these are ini edits to provide a cockpit and make stock aircraft flyable using only stock resources. That being said, there are much better mods that are much closer to the real thing, i only provide this  in case normal mods cause performance issues in your install
These are a few edits to make DLC28 and stock Starfighters flyable
Basically, i used stock Crusader cockpits and tweaked them a little bit to serve as placeholders, so you will need SF2V, and to already have the aircraft themselves
either (or both) from SF2E and DLC28
F-104As are a basic F-8C cockpit with an F-4E gunsight
Most others (F-104C, F-104C(61), F-104G, CF104 and CF104(72)) are the same plus a ground search radar
And F-104C (66) and CF104(76) add an audio only RWR
If any issue arises, please tell me, will try to fix ASAP.

That being said, there are much better mods that are much closer to the real thing, i only provide this  in case normal mods cause performance issues in your install
These are a few files to make DLC28 LARAF and EAF Mirages flyable
Requires SF2I and Mirage3EL DLC, as it uses Nesher and Mirage3EL cockpits
I just added dtmdragon's sight fixes for Nesher and Mirage3Os, and audio RWR.
There are more juicy mods around, but if you like keeping it down to a few INI fixes, this does the trick.
Just drop contents in your SF2 mod folder and everything should go where it has to.
If something goes wrong, blame me and me alone, and please send a PM with the issue, will fix ASAP. Can't promise anything
since I've become a mature and dependable professional and I'm supposed to be busy all day, but tell me anyway.

You will need SF2 (the basic, desert one) since this uses both A-4B and F-100D elements (the manual says SF2V doesn't include A-4Bs, and the compressed
files seem to agree, i can't tell since i'm on the complete edition)
It should just drop in the mods folder and ask you to overwrite a couple of things, if you have any issue with the fix just tell me.

It uses the MystereIVA cockpit with Mirage sights, so besides SF2I you need
EXP 1. It has certain issues, among other things, it is basically a single engine,
two cannon cockpit with a two engine, four cannon aircraft, so you only get
gauges for one engine, and i don't even want to look at the ammo counter.
Any other issues or suggestions, don't hesitate to send me a message
