About This File

Description:

This is optional high resolution repaint/treemod for SF2:V VietnamSEA map, I call it "Green Hell 3.5" ;)

SF2:Vietnam required for Vietnam map (doh!) SF2 all-merged install preferred

made and tested im May 2013 environment

-included both 1024x1024 pixels and smaller 512x512 pixels versions for those with older computers

-repainted hangars/base objects from my WW2 hangars pack, fits this particular scenery ok in my opinion

-city textures by Brain32 from his excellent Vietnam repaint, used under freeware license

-full TOD coverage included

Installation:

Backup your Vietnam folder, unpack and move/copy new VietnamSEA to your Vietnam folder, overwrite when asked.

Legal mumbo jumbo:

Freeware license apply, no to be used as part of any payware

Stary, you are a constant source of amazement as you continually push the boundaries of what's possible in this series.  As always, great work!

Hi guys, when I unpack and move GH3.5 to the terrains folder, I can see the original VietnamSEA there, but it doesn't ask me to overwrite and I cant seem to be able to. The original VietnamSEA file type is a Security Catalog. Any tips on what I am doing wrong?

Late Review:

Outstanding Work! Thank you Stary! Makes my old Groundwarexpansion look so much better!

By the way. Shortened my loadingtime on my old Rig  30 %. No more slowdowns on AA crowded areas!

Hello guys I am new in Combat Ace, I salut all you fellow pilots and thank you for all your efforts in making our loving games even better.

I would like though to ask for some assistance/guidance concerning this mod...

When i downloaded the file, i noticed that it is not a secure catalog file like the original SF2V, nevertheless I gave it a try to replace the file, of course nothing happened.

I have now replaced the original file but i think it is a same not to put in good use the mod, so to all out here; Please, can someone guide me through this? I thank you in advance, stay safe out there!

SALUT

You should create a mod folder first. Then in the mod folder create a Terrains folder and place this mod pack the mod folder. Look for tutorials you'll understand.
