Wilches Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I asked my AI what it could do in SFP2, and this was the answer... strike_fighters_2_optimization_guide.pdf
Wrench Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Interesting! I mean, not much we didn't already know, but interesting that AI could pick those things up! Section 2 had some notes that even I didn't know!!
Wilches Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago I give an example what AI did to me. I drop a SquadronList.lst on it and asked to add all the squadrons that operated in my scenario and erase those who not and... in some seconds everything is done! In a correct numerical sequence! It saves me some precious time, not only by writing but in researching as well. 3
snowburn Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago What a coincidence! A few days ago, I was wondering about the steps involved in creating a reimplementation of the SF2 flight model. One of those steps would be making an .ini validator, something like: Quote Aircraft Validator ──────────────────────────── [OK] Model [OK] Engine [OK] Flight model [WARNING] WeaponStation003 references nonexistent weapon AIM-9X [WARNING] LandingGear001 has no animation node [ERROR] Engine position references missing node "EngineLeft" A few years ago, I also made a C# Aircraft_Data inspector. Maybe I can dig up my old code and try to fix its bugs. 3
