I'm posting here some work in progress of my attempt to bring default WoE tiles a bit more real look, building it in Nato Fighters 2 installation:

Apart from forrests, this mod adds a lot of little stuff in open farmlands, like real-sized trees, road infrastructure, filling stations, powerlines, kettle etc:

It's about 60-70 % complete, I don't intend to rework city tiles objects, as there are most targets located. Right now I have achieved little impact on framerate. Also I worked simple solution to get rid of the occasional "trees rendered throught clouds" bug.

This will be compatible with standard, Deuce's enchanced and recent Hi-res Max188's repaint. As Brain32 is working on awesome hi-res tiles, don't know about that repaint right now, seems he changed general forrests and trees layout.

ETA: less than two weeks

The biggest question I have is - how is it done?

I would really love to have this work on my tiles...

Textures that tricks you there are more trees than really are. Every three trees in forrests are single object on tod file. Still it's a lot of them there.

Very nice! :ok:

The Idea to place stream masts and Street signs is very cool. The style of the "Zone 30" Sign is only correct about 1990 or later...

Holy etc etc etc.....

What are we up to......... Every few hours there is another new fantastic landscape for good old Europe.

I wont go flying any more: please let somebody come up with a nice VOLVO V70 D5 mod and I'll go on holiday on the ground instead...... :alcoholic:

If the two of you could combine something it 'll be heaven on earth (no beer in the real heaven anyway they say...)

Absolutely stunning,

Aju,

That head-on view of the Jaguar flying low over the landscape is fantastic ! Looks almost like it was taken through a telephoto lens.

This is what this community is all about.

Great work. Mucho impresto ! :good:

Greetings CA_Stary and thankyou for creating this true masterpice, it really adds new life to the Germany terrain, however, I am bringing some sort of bad new about it. When I was returning to base i spotted this:

It looks like I'm missing one tile, since I've found several of these white patches on similar places (near airfields) any sugestions on how to solve this issue would be apreciated. Thanks in advance
