I've found that the Soviet weapons are in most cases way over modeled...I mean to a ridiculous extreme.

 

Yeah, this time, I think it might have been me! I just find some of the Eastern weapons to be pretty woeful compared to some of the specs I've seen. I created an entry for the R-77M which should have had operating characteristics similar to the AIM-120C... although, this one never seemed to miss when used in conjunction with the capability of the Mig-23-98's avionics set. Oops.

 

 

A quick re-colour to make me nostalgic about Distant Thunder. Definitely need to improve my aim...
