Forget swine flu - I've got me a bad dose of Phantom Phever. So far so good; there's been no cure found

Hellcats over Okinawa....

This was my 2nd element lead; we'd encounter like 12 Franks, lost my wingman, his wingman, and finally drove them off. I told this guy to go RTB, and caught up with him on approach.

Now here's the odd thing... watched him make a near perfect landing (minus the tail wheel - just the strut! no tire!), and as he was rolling to a stop, veered off the runway and starting doing doughnuts in the infield!! First time I've ever seen a ground loop in this game!! (if this was IL2, I'd have expected to see the dude jump out and run away!!!)

One day you chuckle at wingman, who got shot down by a single 30mm round, next day you get fragged by R-13 :haha:

Well you know I always liked the F-15. For the F-15E, Crusader has to finish the avionics and then that pit is done.

"Too close for comfort" merge with own AIM-9P. The one tailing that Flogger. It got away

The squadron is totally skinned. Supply at 19%, no Sparrows, 4 9Ls left, 9Ps are running out... Another week like that and well go through 9Js and go guns only.
