+russouk2004 6,958 Posted January 20, 2009 good to have civil a\c flying around the skies......as per FS...I recall they can be assigned paths to fly and not attack targets?...lol imagine a 737 cluster bombing a runway etc...lol
Viggen 644 Posted January 20, 2009 I already had that happen with Florians Airbus.
DWCAce 19 Posted January 20, 2009 Very nice! You could always intercept the a/c and escort it :)
+EricJ 4,223 Posted January 20, 2009 good to have civil a\c flying around the skies......as per FS...I recall they can be assigned paths to fly and not attack targets?...lolimagine a 737 cluster bombing a runway etc...lol Using the KMD you can assign it "transport" and pretty sure of course it doesn't require an objective so this'll be a nice addon for missions.... kct 5 Posted January 21, 2009 With a set of templates I'll try the MAS 707. Looks snazzy with the predominantly red scheme. No, I would NOT do the Heliconia and Hibiscus schemes, those would take insaneloads of skill.
+Typhoid 231 Posted January 21, 2009 good to have civil a\c flying around the skies......as per FS...I recall they can be assigned paths to fly and not attack targets?...lolimagine a 737 cluster bombing a runway etc...lol I put a few in some of my custom missions, like the Gulf of Sidra package. background neutral flights to complicate the radar picture makes things a bit more complex and realistic
+Spectre_USA 7 Posted January 21, 2009 What would be WAY cool is to have them become an immediate mission fail, return to base if you inadvertently frag one. Of course it would stand to reason that this engine would probably give you a fail if the ENEMY freagged one as well...
+Soulfreak 6,520 Posted January 21, 2009 Well, nice Idea, can´t wait di do a Luftwaffe skin for it. The German 707´s very often trained aproaches on our runway, as i still was a soldier at Hopsten Airbase...
charlielima 328 Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) I was going to call Bravo Sierra on this one and flame folks that don't even post here. Yup this is very relevent to our group here. My Pop, Papa Lima, Flew DC-8s to Saigon when he wasn't driving P-2Vs. During the Korean War the, ah, adverseries where quite adept at intercepting and splashing non combat type aircraft. Way More thoughts but.... I have a house by plant 42. There is always a KC-135 pounding the pattern there. That bird looks and sounds sexy. CL Edited January 21, 2009 by charlielima
