An "early" Tony - Ki-60 and/or very early Ki-61 - model is by A-team and it took a while to rework the FM but I like the results - top speed about 560 kph @ 4500 m alt. Best climb around 350 kph, 13 m/s or so. Ailerons are okay above about 300 kph but horribly ineffective below 250 kph. Rudder is ok. Also avoid loops if your speed is less than about 300 kph, tends to spin out. Other peculiarities on the type - tends to "sink" if flying too slowly - rather than entering a typical stall. No wonder pilots didn't really like the Ki-60 prototypes and early Ki-61 batch, compared to the more pleasant Ki-43 ("Army Zero"). Having said that, it's a fast type for the early war and works just fine if you avoid tight dogfights with it. Good for slash-and-dash attacks. Gatling20 Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Amariani: try adjusting the center of gravity on your B-24 Data.INI, moving it forward. This model has CGPosition=0.0,1.8,0.0, and it sits on the runway just fine. 5 Quote
Wrench Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 it's not the player controlled units, it's the game generated parked aircraft. been that way for years. but, i'd try adjusting the cg to CGPosition=0.00,2.0,0.00 that what mine is for both pasko's 24D and 24J be advised, in may change in-air handling when player flown. otherwise, i'd just ignore it ============ required screenshot 7 Quote
