Do we have a civillian soviet aircraft either Aeroflot or Interflug that can be placed as object in front of the Schönefeld Terminal?

the only one's I know of here are the Aeroflot skins for the An-2 and the An-22 plus i think there is a civilian skin for the Let-410. the DAT site has a couple russian airliners I think but they have limited use restrictions.

Could flyable aircrafts be used as groungobjects? Would be nice to have a prop and jet airliner on the airport.

There was an AN-22 somewhere with an Aeroflot skin. Also at Capun's site there was an AN-24 Coke with Aerflot skin.

remember, can't share their stuff. Therefore, it's better to simply forget they exist. OTH, if someone MAKES new static aircraft, you just treat them like any other terrain object (re: ww2 terrains -- plenty in there, although most are not used anymore). One must make sure, however, their placements don't conflict with game-generated parked birds.

 

you can convert aircraft to ground objects, but they tend to look really bad. as they're 'world center' is based upon having landing gear extended. In other words, they rest on their bellies on the ground (see OTC+ cuba map -- the Beagles on the ground. looks terrible!!)

 

the game WILL automatically generate parked aircraft. You can always extract the relevant airfield inis, and UP the parkingchance= percentage (I use 85% for all)

 

and yes, there's a 114 around here somewhere --- check the Veltro's  SF2 Soviet Transport/AWAC Remod Pak

Yes, since i have the whole runway, taxiways and other surfaces as one Object in Max it´s not that diffcult... but boring!  :biggrin:
