TheShadowPilot Posted Monday at 04:57 AM Posted Monday at 04:57 AM Mission objective was capture Intel on the enemy airfield with cover of 2 Mirage III from Belgium Air Force Unfortunately the Air to Air defense was intense and the two Mirages were shot down, one in the enemy base and another not far from there We manage to bring to safe one of the pilots and only was missing the other Finally both pilots safe and on board and explosives ready in the wreckage Final travel to home and safety although on the way enemy shot two air to air missiles but none of them manage to hit. Another successful mission for the 160th SOAR 11
Nightshade/PR Posted Monday at 11:29 PM Posted Monday at 11:29 PM There were some RAF Tornadoes in the area, and that must be who the SAMS were firing at, since they pretty much ignored us. Drop and skedaddle...... And I brought my #2 home as well. 6
allenjb42 Posted Tuesday at 07:59 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:59 PM GKABS fantastic new F/A-18E operating with VFA-14 aboard USS Nimitz somewhere in the South China Sea... And more importantly, for me and @Flanker562 at least, we now have parked Super Hornets with wings folded and canopies closed, so for that alone you deserve a Modder of the Decade medal! 7 1

Nightshade/PR Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Kill the Comm Building in the Timor terrain. Our escorts were an 8-flight oF-16's from the RNZAF. We got into the target area, but ran into a flight of PLAAF J-14's, 8 J-7's, and a pair of J-7III's. It devolved into a running fight amongst the terrain, and at the end of the mission, only 2 F-16's made it out. 3
