Nightshade/PR Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Something about Crusaders missions over Cuba are always fun While not recommended for a long life, when the short ranged SAMS miss, gunning them before they can fire again is quite satisfying. 9 Quote

+allenjb42 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 (edited) In 1974 F-8J Crusaders of VF-24 deployed to Nellis AFB for DACM exercises against F-4Es and F-105s. The aim of the exercise was to study the weapons and tactics used over Vietnam to see what worked and what didn't, as well as to help to codify the features wanted for the next generation of combat jets.. The Checkertails' Crusaders fared pretty well.. Edited March 3, 2020 by allenjb42 8 Quote
Nightshade/PR Posted December 28, 2020 Posted December 28, 2020 Flew past this guy on the way back at what I thought was a safe distance. Obviously not. After some serious ducking, dodging, and flat out running, I got back. 4 Quote

Nightshade/PR Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 I'm using this one. The folder & data line says East Med, although the Terrain Full Name comes out as the Adriatic Sea South East Europe BETA - Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - File Announcements - CombatACE 1 Quote
+daddyairplanes Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 if youre straight flying the Balkans (Foch, Deny Flight, cough cough) this is a better terrain but it doesnt go too deep into the Med Quote
