FW 190F, this is my final version of this device that includes all the experimental effects never seen in this simulator, this pack contains the plane with its corresponding cockpit with 3 historical skins, the new luftwaffe pilot (there are 2 lods, one with goggles and one without goggles, the pilot with goggles is worn by default). and many weapons used by this bird (including the disposable wing tanks of the FW190G version) The F variant had the same blown canopy as the late versions of the FW190D series and is a specialized ground attack aircraft. I hope you enjoy it, more information in the readme file. Sorry my English is bad Torno

SF2 C-130A Hercules (3w) UPgrade Pack 8/29/2022 -For SF2 (Full 4/5 Merged Recommended) This package contains various bits to upgrade the stock 1stGen 3rdWire C-130A "Hercules" to something a bit more then just eye candy. Although, it WILL improve the eye candy. Be advised, that the LODs for the aircraft are =NOT= included, so End Users (tm) will have to extract them (there are 5 lods) from the SF1, WoE or WoV main Object cats. See "Notes" below for their actual file names. If at some point in the past, you have already extracted and imported the 3W Herk in your SF2 installs, be advised THIS mod uses a unique folder name identifer. You'd be well advised to use =this= one, as all the pathways have been written with the unique name in mind. AND as such the Game Engine (tm) will not overwrite a stock AI-only aircraft made player usable, and it will remain player flyable. Included skins are: "USAFSilver1" - stock NMF, a generic skin "USAFSEA2" - a 3-tone VietNam era camo, representing 21st TAS "Desert" - generic Desert camo "TN" - 118th AW, TN ANG (late light grey) All skins remain in their original bmp format. All National Markings are decals (stock). New decal sets were created using historically correct "A" model serial numbers. While correct, they should be considered 'generic' in nature, representing NO particular unit(s). Decal randomization is TRUE for all. The NMF and Desert use the same pool of 26 serials. The SEA camo uses 26 in the correct VN era style. I was unable to run down those serials for aircraft in the 21st TAS, so like the others, are generic in nature, but correct for the model and style presentation. The SF2 date switch IS active for the SEA came (1967) and the TN ANG (1980). The desert and NMF are selectable via the loadout screen. A full cockpit (albeit not quite a Herk pit), all necessary inis, sounds, etc are included. However, a 'Userlist.ini' is NOT. Exportation is TRUE, so expect to see them parked wearing various and sundry markings. When in game, you'll see: C-130A Hercules (TM)3W On the aircraft selection drop-down menu. This will ID it as the stock aircraft, seperate from the (superb!) model done by Dels. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Also, the Notes section has more details on the changes. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein

Douglas B-42A Mixmaster for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is the B-42 Mixmaster by veltro2k with some fictional 'in service' operational USAAF/USAF B-42A schemes using Third Wire's date switch to give you the USAAF starbar in 1944 to 1947 and then the USAF starbar (and nation name) from 1948 onwards. You can fly the prototype in 1944 and for gameplay reasons we've placed it in service from 1945 onwards with service years allowing for use in the Korean War (check out the night scheme) and all operational schemes have new nose art decals. The unique feature of the B-42 is, of course, it's twin bubble canopies and this caused some problems when 'in cockpit' as panning to starboard cannot accurately show a real world view of the right-hand canopy, the co-pilot and his cockpit so it's a bit of a compromise which we trust you will accept. If anyone can suggest any improvements in the cockpit view then let us know. It's likely some of you will want to do your own skins for favourite squadrons or perhaps for export versions so a template is included and we'd love to see your results! The B-42A Mixmaster is brought to you by; B-42 3D Model - veltro2k B-42A Skins/Decals - Spinners B-42A FM and ini's - Wrench INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the B-42A folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the B-42A folder into your Decals folder. 3. From the WEAPONS folder drag and drop the enclosed folders into your Weapons folder. 4. From the SOUNDS folder drag and drop the enclosed sound file into your Sounds folder. That's it! CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. Huge thanks to veltro2k for not only tackling this aircraft but also cranking in improvements along the way. Thanks to russouk2004 for his help with the 3D model. Thanks also to Capun for the Do-335 used as the damaged model. Thanks to Wrench for his work on the flight model and ini work. And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners Version 1 - 21/08/2020

Westland Whirlwind Mk.2D for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 This is a simple mod of Veltro2K's Westland Whirlwind to create a fictional "Desert Whirlibomber" in service with No.6 Squadron of the Royal Air Force in the 1941-1944 timeline. INSTRUCTIONS 1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the Whirlwind2D folder into your Aircraft folder. 2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the Whirlwind2D folder into your Decals folder. That's it! Bombs, tanks and sounds are all stock items but you will need to add a WW2 pilot (not supplied). Please note that this older 3D model does have some 'rope' issues that you can remove by turning shadows to FALSE. It's a tricky beast to get off the ground, requiring slow advancement of the throttle and a gentle touch, but is otherwise OK. CREDITS As always, thanks to Third Wire for a great little game/sim. Big thanks to Veltro2K for the Whirlwind... and so much more! And, finally, thanks to everyone in the wider Third Wire community. Regards Spinners Version 1 - 10/04/2020

There’s no record of a twin P-40 ever having been made and the only evidence is a few Pics found on the internet. There were a few variations on the design, so I took a bit from them and add lib'd a few of my own. Credits: Model: Veltro2k Textures, decals and FM (Charles). SF2 WW2 Focke Wulf P.II Jet Fighter by Timmy - A What If Luft '46 Mod -- Something for the WW2 ETO players -- = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged ( Full-5 Reccomended/Preferred) = *There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However due to the excessive modifications made to fit into the SF2 environment, not all features will be avaliable.* *Note X2: this mod is designed for use =ONLY= in the ETO envrionment. A seperate skin for the MTO is included, but not 'activated' Mods, rebuilds, and general 'messing with' for Timmy's FW P.II jet fighter, to bring it more in line with SF2 useage. This mod is designed to REPLACE any 1stGen variant you may have in your WW2 ETO intalls. It is reccomended you delete the aircraft and decals folders of the originals, as to NOT cause any conflicts with THIS mod. This package represents P.II Project, as a production model called "Ta-173" (I couldn't think of anything else!) as deployed in Western Europe and the Med. Skins/Decals in this pak are: JG 1 Oesau JG 2 Richthofen JG27 Afrika, in a overall 'tan' desert camo (stored in a seperate folder inside the main aircraft folder called 'a-MTO skin'). It is suggested that this skin ONLY be used in an MTO-centric mods folder (it would look funny in western Europe!!) Skins are in their original bmp format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. New damage textures are included, in DDS format. A (semi) compliant SF2 FM was cobbled together from various sources. As always, while it works well enough, further fine tuning is required by Experten. Sounds, pilot figures and weapons (R4M rack) are included, as well a new SF2 Hangar and/or Loading screens, in jpg format. Mission tasking has been limited, due to the aircraft's rather short range. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Timmy's original readme is included for historical purposes. Happy Hunting! wrench kevin stein *Note: this mod has been placed in the "What If..Hangar", as opposed to the WW2 Aircraft section, as the Real Life ™ aircraft never left the drawing boards*

SF2 P-80 Shooting Star, World War 2: 1946 mod = For SF2 (Full4/5 Merged ONLY) - For WW2 ETO "Luft 46" & PTO "SWOTP" style installs - **This mod will ONLY work in SF2 Game Installs.*** Mods to the KAW F-80 by ErikGen (re)create a "What If..." version for WW2:46 usage. This mod will REPLACE the version I built many years ago from the Pasko F-80. However, I DID reuse the decals (you all know how much I hate wasting good decals!!!), and actually had to remake a few. So, if you have the earlier 1stGen mod of Pasko's, you are instructed to delete the aircraft and decals folders. As stated, this replaces that one COMPLETLY!! This is the complete aircraft, with almost everything you need! I didn't include any weapons (bombs, rockets, etc) other than the drop tank data inis, as the tanks are built into the aircraft LOD. The pilot figure you also should have already. You'll find in this zip 3 skin and decal sets: ETO: 336th FS 4th FG 487th FS, 352nd FG (Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney) PTO: 416th Fighter Group (74 aircraft!!!) -historically, the furst unit to field them, post-war. Given the "What If.." nature of the mod, the start service date is listed as April, 1945. This makes the assumption (oh!! that word!!) the Normandy landings did NOT succeed, and more jets were appearing in Luftwaffe service. So, 8th Fighter Command rushed into service the P-80A Shooting Star to counter them. Same can be said for the PTO version; based on Okinawa for Operation Olympic, they can reach Kyushu fairly easily. As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! Also, the "Notes" section for other important stuff of interest. Happy Landings! wrench kevin stein *yes, even though 6 P-80s were touring Europe and the Med in 1945, they were NOT operationaly used. Given the speculative nature of the mod, it has been placed here, in "The What If.." hangar, and not into the WW2 aircraft downloads section. Enjoy!*
