As this monster in the gulf comes onshore it is developing to be the largest storm to hit the Continental US in decades. We hope you are all prepared for the worst and you stay safe if you're in the impact zone. Bringing 24 inches of rain to some parts of Texas this storm has the potential for catastrophic loss of property and lives. Our thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you impacted. No problem that's just the fix now I have to make that fix on all the other directories that house files.

Hmmmm ... that is a problem and I'll have to go back through all the categories to adjust them. I modified the settings for that category but nothing changed so can I ask you a favor? Go to this file: edit it and reupload your images. I haven't looked but you may need to delete your old ones then reupload new ones.

Yes that's a problem. You can use the stars on some files and not on others. It's on my list to fix. Thanks.

Work continues. 1. There's a ton of work to do in the download section. I've got all the categories up to date except for SF1 and SF2. So if there's any oddities there I know about them. The quick create buttons on the header and files portal are not showing the correct download categories. This is a problem with the core and a fix is being worked on. The work around is to manually browse to the location you want to upload by using the files categories. Once you get to the directory you want to put your file you should have a green "Submit a file" button. This still works so uploads are possible. The support topics weren't showing images and were pretty much horked. Those have all been fixed so now images and text appears correctly. 2. The gallery section. I've not touched it yet. All the categories need permissions set and a general look through of the application to make sure it's set up right. 3. The forum section. Permissions. 4. The online store. Should be squared away and ready to use. 5. The ancillary sections membermaps, leaderboards, site portal, search, and various other sections. Should be good to go for general consumption and use. 6. The skins. The site skins are just a mess right now. I've only brought the main skin online. That leaves the OFF skin, and DARK skin not even started. CA Default (Light) and OFF skins released. Working on a dark skin. There's minor work to be done in other areas but it's not causing any issues so I'll get to that when I have a chance. For now this list unless something is brought to my attention is considered the priorities from the most severe at the top to the least at the bottom. In the meantime you should be able to browse to the download section you want to upload to and once you get to a location that allows uploads a green "submit file" button will appear. I'm still working on the upload feature honoring permission settings. Sorry for the hassle.

I said I'll look into it. What more do you want? I have a ton of things I'm working on at the moment and this is on the list it's just not going to be something I do right away. I tried to explain to you how things work but you're taking it personally. There's no reason for that in the slightest.

The search feature is working as intended. If you select "This Forum" that means "This Forum ONLY" and so the search results are correct. If you want to search a forum and all sub sets of that forum then don't select "This Forum". You're asking me to rewrite logic so that the ONLY toggle can mean ANYTHING or SOMETHING SPECIFIC. In a binary world the choices are on or off, ONLY or NOT ONLY.

I understand what you're saying. From a software logic point of view it works as intended. By selecting "This Forum" and "Topics" the search pulls back all hits that would be in the OFF Root which is always going to nothing as the OFF Root is a forum that has no posts and no topics. It only holds sub forums which was excluded by the "This Forum" selection. Result=NULL You're better off searching the entire board by just selecting "Topics" in this case which will pull back everything in all topics but because the search term "TAC" is pretty specific you can get to what you're after fairly easily. STATUS: Working as intended though your argument stands for possible further development in the "fuzzy logic" department. IOW "This Forum" is a recursive lookup below "This Forum" and not held as strict. Thanks for the report.

The device shouldn't matter. When using the search box make sure you select drop down menu and select "All Content" then enter your search phrase "TAC" and press enter or click the spyglass icon. You should get the same results as everyone else which would include the above referenced file and post. E

Yes as soon as I'm done with the download permission sets I'll tackle the gallery permissions. Well there goes my week.

The categories are all there. I'll review the permission sets for all the categories which will probably take me days considering the amount of them. Please standby.

Most likely causes for no in-line notifications is there's an adblock app running, popups are disabled, or your browser security settings are not compatible or misconfigured.

Here you can decide what notifications you want (you may select multiple notification options, one only, or none). If you want onscreen push notifications make sure your browser notifications are turned on. Your account looks fine in the back end so I'm pretty sure it's in the settings above.

You'll also notice the entire site is now running SSL which is that green security lock on your URL bar.

The new site re-indexed and re-counted everything accurately where the old site only counted posts in certain areas. Weird I know but your number now is accurate.
