  1. there are a couple of "common" files in the objectdata.cat, like canopy and hud tga's.. they are near the top of the .cat list in the extraction tool, open it, then scroll down about a half window.. those tga's are below the crater lods
  2. "true" ? in case you mean "true" like launching -54, -120 in TWS without going STT ect, cant be done, code limit. Present TWS mode is very "rough".
  3. looking good Russ :)
  4. cc.... black sea.. fiddeling with that one too.... 1000x1000 km map... you probably missed a transition tga for conversion to bmp so that the editor can read it.... and.. pssst.... DON'T forget the jungle dirt strips.... edit: added a word that sneaked away... somehow...

  10. To fly the other stock F-4 variants in WOI, you have to copy their plane folders from SF/WOV/WOE ( which hold the stock skins and a single "main" ini only) into WOI, then extract all their other files ( ini , lod and cockpit texture files) from the SF/WOV/WOI \Objects\Objectdata.cat archive ( using this tool - http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...mp;showfile=343 ) . The aircraft files are all in the lower quarter of the cat archive. Move the extracted files into their respective plane folder, you'll need to make a new "cockpit" folder where all the cockpit textures and the cockpit lod goes. The plane lod files and all inis go into the planes main folder ( see attached snapshots which show file hierachy by example on the F-4J ) For testing, keep in mind that all other jet games except WOI are presently at the code level of v08.30.06 and the FMs are optimized for it, so flying with those old versions in WOI isnt representative of the new WOI code.

  13. since the link is somewhat hard to find.... Link to updated MIIICZ skins at Check 6 And if you already have the MIIICZ with the original skins installed, you can now delete the "no800 camo1" skin, the special markings of it are now included in one of the other skins, as decals.
  14. yep, CCIP is dead on with Mk8x series bombs, but try it with Soviet FAB stuff.... uh hu... EDIT.... eh.. forget about that... its just the Su-27SK with avionics update.... the CCIP on it is set up somewhat differently
  15. This method was actually "invented" by BPAo, it was first used in the French F-100D mod to hide the fuel probe.
  16. The pod version carried by the Su-22/25 ( SPS-141MVG-E , iirc..) jams two bands ... it has 4 modes, which include self-protection, "two-aircraft" protection ( 2 aircraft carrying one pod each and supporting each other iirc...), then some other kind of noise mode and a low-level mode where terrain bouncing effect is used.. So basically this pod is a noise jammer, but there are more versions of it which use range and velocity stealing, which are deception jamming modes.
  17. this calls for a "jam" session.. hehe
  18. I second that...

  20. move them into the respective plane folders, e.g. F-4E_data.ini goes into the F-4E folder ect. Thats all.

  22. no problem Viper6, I edit those ini's in a snap... WOE package, with F-4C/D/E/F and M data ini's (game version 08.30.06) with chaff and flares WOE_v08.30.06_dataCM.zip
  23. Here is the WOV package, includes data inis ( from game version 08.30.06) for A-4C/E/F, A-7A/B, F-4B/C/D/E/J with chaff and flares added ( not all planes have flares ) The F-4D lod doesnt have the pylon mounted dispenser but I added the chaff/flares anyway.... WOE comes next... WOV_v30.08.06_dataCM.zip
