SF2 A-26B Invader USAF & "Farm Gate" VNAF 12/27/2025 = For SF2, Any and All, But Designed for SF2:V = Modifications to Bobrock's A/B-26B "Invader" (solid gun nose) reproduce those as used by the USAF in post-WW2 (excepting Korea), and into the Farm Gate program in Southeast Asia. This is a stand-alone aircraft mod, with just about everything you'll need. You'll have 2 new skins: USAF = post 1947, NMF "VNAF" = 4400 CCTS "Jungle Jims", NMF <1961 All markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE for all. The 'Farm Gate' Invader has the 26 100% historically accurate serial numbers for aircraft used in that Program.. The USAF skin's serials ARE accurate for A-26Bs, but should be considered 'generic' as they represent no specific unit. The "VNAF" skin uses the SF2 date switch, and will be available for use after 1961. The canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke, Shift/0 (zero). Pilot figures, WW2 period bombs are included. If you have the Full 7 Merged (with both Expansion Packs), you can change to the AN-M64 500 pounders for the stock 3W versions. You'll also be adding a new engine sound, and this will need to be added to the Sound list ini, so have that extracted (if you haven't already), and in the /Flight folder in you SF2:V Mods Folder of choice (ie: SF2:V). As seen in the accompanying screen shots, the upper and lower turrets have been removed along with the wing guns, as is historically accurate. Because there are several Invader variants wandering around, I've used unique folders & displayed name to differentiate it from them others. On the Aircraft Selection Drop Down menu, you'll see A-26B Invader (A/B-26B) As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. Please read the Notes section for other possibly useless information, and (hopefully) full credits. Please also take note of changes in the Standard Disclaimer in the "Legal BS" section at the bottom. Wrench Kevin Stein

SF2 Lockheed L-500 Galaxy (C-5A) Civilian Skin Pack by "Original Author Unknown" For SF2, and and All While in the midst of the massive clean up and restoration project here at CombatAce, I stumbled upon this skin for Veltro2K's C-5A Galaxy. This represents the 'what if' it had been developed to usage in the civilian market, for passenger and/or cargo carrying. Since it never left the drawing board, it's been placed here in the "What If..." section of the Downloads The original didn't have any 'real' markings, so I created 6 new fake registration numbers. Most markings are decals, with some identifiers painted on. Decal randomization is TRUE. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. The original readme, by whomever, is included for historical purposes (it don't say much!) Please read the Notes section for other useless information, and credits. Please also take note of changes in the Standard Disclaimer in the "Legal BS" section at the bottom. Happy Landings! Have a Happy Heavy Humpday!!! 16. "2 Tanks No Thanks" I LOVE it!!!
  17. I feel for ya, brother!!! Had all kinds of issues with the WW2 Norway. IIRC, I "THINK" is used the TEs 'adjust sea level' function. Even then, I did have to go into some with the TFD and smooth them down. Yeah, it a LOT of work!

Please note, the cockpit is NOT included. You'll have to locate and install that yourself* This pack contains a remod of a skin/decal set originally done by Mike "MPPD" Druzolowski for the Razbam A-1H Skyraider, for SFP1. It has now been adapted for use on the stock 3W A-1Hs. The skins are a reuse of the stock 3 tone SEA camo, in jpg format. The Skin included herein is for 6th SOS as seen in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam war, and based at Pleiku AB. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. All serials and markings are 100% historically correct, as per MPPD. I've included MPPD's original readme for historical purposes, as it has interesting information. 20. The fix for that IS posted here someplace, because I wrote it. It goes something like this ... "For example, we're building a WW2 ETO install. To the usual "create new mod folder steps, ESPECIALLY running it at least once before installing the 'new WW2 items. Then, open the Objects folders, in particular /Aircraft and DELETE everything EXCEPT one Blue and one Red side aircraft. This allows the game engine to see and think all the others are there (I usually use the A-4B and Mig-21MF). Now, go ahead and install all your WW2 goodies. YOu can leave the Ground Objects alone, unless you wish to remove the more modern ships. As they have user lists, your 1939-1946 year span will cause the game to ignore them" and there you have it. I've been doing it that way for almost 20 years now, or whenever SF2 came out, and it works everytime.
  21. Well, it looks as if one good thing has come from Frumps "intervention" !!! Maybe now we can get the A-3 Skywarriors finished, and that cursed flying/landing/crashing issues fixed!! (all the skins are DONE!!)
  22. My post was meant for people, like me, trying to update these INIs on these 1stGen leftovers. I'm not talking about the tgas and bmps . if you'd read the post properly, that's what its saying. For some idiotic reason, MANY of these ansi inis turned to gibberish on my Win11 machine. So, I had to fucking convert them BACK to their original ansi. And guess, what?? All the text came back. another thing I noticed, WoE & WoV really don't like running in Winge11, even when placed in the proper location, ie: the root of ===== at any rate, I got over 2 dozen done last night.
  23. Slight update on that .... I forgot that 1stGens read ONLY ANSI, so for whomever starts on those, you'll have to convert BACK to ANSI from Unicode. Short story -- check the encoding! It's as easy "save as..." and select ansi for ALL the inis, including texture set and decals
  24. most of the sf1 stuff just drops right in sf2. OTH, I do have WoV and WoE both on my machine --- so ... shouldn't be a big problem On and off for the last few years, I've been trying to 'fill in the blanks' of missing images on both SFs. I'll do what I can.
  25. AWESOME!!!!!
