  1. yakarov: if you have the max files for angelp's Skywarriors ... that means that the untextured (black in game) regions can be mapped and painted. if you want, i can send you the whole package of everything ... was just testing them, and remembered (ie: found out) the EA-3 gets tossed off the cat by doing a backflip and crashing. THAT one is seriously messed up!!! and the wings don't fold in all the way, like they should.
  2. just adding 'naval map' won't work -- you need the correct _water.bmp for each terrain (look at the IcelandNA terrain for example). the colors on THAT map define spawning for both sides, provided they're naval nations. You can always do it the old fashioned way; set a target area and populate with static ships, but you have to be careful on that one finally found that mission -- you can copy/paste the text below as 'save as' dd v cargoship.msn mind you, it's using the stock Desert map with daring class DDs, and iirc, the stock cargo ship. you can edit to your liking. see how this works!! At the very least, it gives a starting point for testing

SF2 NAR T-2 Buckeye by Veltro2k (Beta +) 6/16/2026 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full/5 Merged Recommended) Well, was browsing a few mod folder's "hidden storage folders", and came across this little bird. Been totally forgotten for nearly 6 years (!!!!!). There still are a few issues, these are covered in the Notes below. I present to you the North American Rockwell T-2B/C Buckeye 2 seat trainer (and sometimes light attack aircraft) as used by the US Navy and Marines. The skin included represents VT-9 "Tigers" based at NAS Meridian, Mississippi. The skin is in jpg format, and 4096x. All markings are decals, and decal randomization is TRUE. You'll have 26 Modex and BuNums, but the BuNums are 'generic' in nature, but DO represent the proper mark Buckeyes. All sounds, pilots, 'destroyed model' and weapons, with the gun pod exception, reference stock in-game 3rd Wire items. Lighting is also 100% correct. The canopy opens with the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero). For those with the knack, the full template is included for anyone wishing to make the Greek or Venezuelan skins. Because of the nature of the 'can't land on the boat' issue, and if any other problems surface in the model that can't be fixed with ini work, I've called this a "Beta +". It flies just fine, though! As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Please read the Notes section for any other useless bits of information, and full credits. Please also take note of changes in the Standard Disclaimer in the "Legal BS" section at the bottom. Happy Landings! Wrench Kevin Stein

  5. Given the fact that IsraelME is NOT a naval map at all, and is a totally restricted map (meaning: limited nations = TRUE), I"m surprised you got PLAN boats to even show up. Naval engagements work, and work VERY well. The right parameters just must be met. I've done it on WW2 maps and several modern ones. (Eastern Med comes to mind) If you gonna use PLAN against *whomever* I'd suggest the modern Taiwan (Formosa) as it already set up as a Naval Map. I have a very old 'gerneric' ship-to-ship mission archived somewhere for the stock Desert map. Let me look around, and try to find it.
  6. I'll see what I can find -- I know they're buried around here someplace. The only major thing is , WW2 modding is pretty much dead; we're missing so many aircraft that only "they" have, and some of what we do have is so old... I may do the same for the A3D & EA-3B Skywarrior's as for the T-2. Like the Buckeye, they can't catch the wire on the boat, but are fully skinned and decals to 99.9% accuracy
  7. not to my knowledge bro, it would be GREAT it if we did. If so, we could make fixes on some of the early ones that have shadow casting issues. and/or using existing ones to make other versions of same aircraft (thinking of the various Banshee's we never got)
  8. since we seem to be on a Blues kick ... the REAL Blue Angel #8
  9. ask angelp --- it never got finished
  10. I just keep finding things in the most unusual places ... Found this last night, iirc, Veltro2k made it. I don't know exactly WHY it was never finished and released, but have an idea it's due to the arrester hook NOT grabbing the wire on the carrier. Takes the cat shot find, but runs off the deck. Flies fine from land, though. I'll have to go over what I've got, or what it needs and will definately release it as a "beta plus", as if it needs anything other than ini work, it ain't gonna happen. That way, people smarter than me can maybe figure out the "whys". The template will be included, of course.
  11. that's because you haven't interacted with the community enough, and earned the extra allowable space, no matter that you joined in 2016.
  12. Just a lovely day for flying ...
  13. and zipping them up and just simply attaching them here isn't possible???? asking for a friend
  14. Ummm.... maybe the one with the most recent date????
  15. Good for you Gepard! It's only been a week since the last Friday (June 5) that I had to have my girl, Charli sent over the Rainbow Bridge after 15 years. You take good care of Mauz!!!
  16. skin & decals completely redone, 99.9% accurate, coming soon!!
  17. EXCELLENT!!!!

View File SF2 Fokker F27 Friendship Pack by Veltro2K & Nyghtfall SF2 Fokker F27 Friendship Pack by Veltro2K & Nyghtfall 6/1/2026 - For SF2, Any and All This was a gift sent to me by Nyghtfall, to do what I could to finish it off, and release it you all so you can have some more tasty eye candy, both civil and military, around your airfields. This is the Fokker F27 "Friendship" turboprop airliner by Veltro2k. All skins are Nyghtfall's work, and I did some decals and ini dancing. For those inclined, the full template IS included within this package for you texturing enjoyments. You'll get a slew of skins: Everywhere Airlines Shuttle (1958-ish, start date '1' fictional) Hughes Airwest (1970-1980) RNlAF, No. 334 Squadron (1964 - ) RNlAF No. 334 Squadron (1980 - ) NLM CityHopper (1980-1990) TNI-AU (Indonesia), SkU 2 (1980s) Iranian Navy (2000s) Please note the "Everywhere Airlines" is a generic, non-specific airliner skin I created as there wasn't one for when the bird entered service. All registration numbers ARE, however, historical and represent F27s from around the world. All markings are decals for the most part: if not, the "fake insignia trick' has been used to activate the displayed nation name. All serials are historically correct for said users. Decal Randomization is TRUE. As this is more of an 'eye candy' aircraft, there are no hangar or loading screens. There's just the one animation keystroke for the passenger and forward cargo door, Shift/3. It opens all 3 doors, so ==Do Not Use Inflight!!== It's set to use that as the "Parked Animation ID" as well. As is always recommended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! When possible, all original read me's have been included. Please read the Notes section for any other useless bits of information, and full credits.
