View File SF2 RoCAF F-84G Thunderjet Skin & Decal Pack SF2 RoCAF F-84G Thunderjet Skin & Decal Pack 10/30/2023 -For SF2 =ONLY= (Full 4/5 Merged Reccomended) This is a new skin for the F-84G Thunderjet available here at CombatAce at the following url: https://combatace.com/files/file/12294-republic-f-84g-thunderjet-by-russouk-for-sf2/ This pack is 'representative' of F-84G Thunderjets used by the Republic of China Air Force (Taiwan). All markings are decals. Decal randomization is TRUE. All serials are 100% historically accurate for T-Jets serving in the RoCAF. As is usual, those on the number list marked with a star (*) have their serial number matched to their "modex" or plane-in-squadron numbers. Any others, not marked, could not be matched to ID numbers, but ARE correct serials as seen on RoCAF T-Jets. This mod does not, however, replicate any specific or particular squadron. I was unable to run them down accurately enough. This is also the reason for not having any of the squadron color bands used on the nose/tail/wingtip tanks. You have a "basic" full squadron of 26 numbers. Also included are updated _data and _loadout inis, adding "Anti-Ship" mission tasking. As this will change USAF and other users missions, you may wish to back up the original data ini. Please also note, that the bombs used are the Stock 3W M64 500 pounders. If you wish to use the older ones, you'll need to edit the loadout ini. As is always reccomended, unzip to a temp folder or your desktop to give easy access to the rest of this readme for it's install instructions. PLEASE read them, before installing!!! Happy Landings! Stratos, if you could get Alex to fix some things on the lod, it would be a HUGE help. I'm out of meshes for the numbers and tail codes. The tail fin (vert tail) needs to be cut off from the rear fuselage (tail mesh) and have it's own mesh. As you can see, it's all one piece. Simply because the tail code, 4-digit bunum, full bunum and individual ID are all on the fin also, if he could give me right and left horizontal stab; they're all one piece now (not a big deal I can just make the full hit box across the stab, and tag it' RemoveWhenDestroyed=FALSE) there are also some untextured bits, mostly the landing gear legs, but that's not that important thanks bro! ps: if you can get the templates, that'd help too! I have to correct the gull grey to the right shade of gray! :)

I wonder if they're still using the original decals I made for it 'way back when in 1stGen SF. I remember them being 100% historical for VMF(N)-513. ----- everything else being said, I DO have what I believe is a beta version of angelp's Skyknight. It has 2 VMFN Marine skins (black) and the later gull grey/white. The GG/W needs decals and such. See below for screenshots. I'm not sure what exactly the state of the model is, the wings fold and the upper canopy 'hatch' opens. It needs FM work (even for a Gen1 Jet, it's very sluggish). I guess it'd be okay do some more work on it and release it as a "provisional Beta". The model itself, even as it stands put's that one to shame. Cockpit is a bit "iffy" (it's a heavily modded Mossie pit0, but it works

Nothing we can do here to fix it. We have very little to do with them. You'll have to take the issue up with them. There was another in the works, once upon a time, but the modler hasn't been around for a while. (2018)

I've had that happen to me too. A typo in the postion statement makes the object appear at the 0,0 point of the target area. It CAN be quite amusing a times, depending on what shows up!
-
or the TMF Phantoms & Tomcats with TISEO also, I made a working "drift sight" camera for the U2. Unfortunately, you DO need a cockpit with a radar screen to 'see' the view, as I used the scope for the TV display

think of each mods folder as an individual game. so, yes, you'll need to have the add-on items INSIDE each mods folder.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With love and understanding (and time) hopefully all will be well

Indeed, we're lucky that TK at a point in the past added support for prop jobs. back on topic, I thought this thread was about over-protective, "hovering" parents!!! I'll show myself out ....

hmmm... could you put any LESS information in the description?? Ya know, like for which Spit its for??

I use Acronis. iirc, it came with my WD externals. It can also be downloaded from Western Digital (iirc!!!)

Yup, the beginning of a new month is ALWAYS my backup time.

all the WoV retiles are in the download section, excepting the Green Hell 1. I couldn't find it. But there are several others based off of it. Look in "Tilesets" in the SF1 downloads section

yup, was there last night!!! got several, even with their 'modex' numbers! I'll just fiddle-faddle the other ID numbers from what I have
-
KJakker: that's perfect1!! I ALMOST spelled 'serial' as 'cereal" in the title, just to get folks attention!!!!! DA: it's not so much the US serial presentation, they kept that along with RoCAF assigned 3/4 digit, with the last 3 on the nose or fuselage (see the recently released F-86 RoCAF I did)
-
I've been trying to run down the serial numbers for the RoCAF F-84G Thunderjets, and having NO luck what so ever. Even Joe Baugher has failed me (list serial, says "to ROCAF" with no more info) So, if someone can point me in the right direction, it's be much appriciated! I'd like the full 26, but can make do with 18. The image below, is pretty much it. Other than a few photos TIA!!

Return - 3ds Max 2009 and Windows 11 Compatibility
Wrench replied to swambast's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
I gotta just throw this out there ... what about finding a good, used working machine that's still on Win7, or if it worked on 10, one of those. I mean, there should be a large number of still usable older machine out there somewhere that MAX will run on. Just a thought
