Have you looked in the F-15 Superpack? Pretty sure a Kadena skin in there. Hog not as sure about...

Well, my answer to the stock NA strike is to fly single ship B-52G packed with SRAMs. Nothing says hate like 12 nuclear missles on one target.

I think its from the old column5 site. Didn't know he'd updated to gen 2 tho.

Operation Rabid Dingo (working name)
daddyairplanes replied to Viggen's topic in Mission & Campaign Building Discussion
Well had a thought since last post bout launching 1 or 2 more than needed for mission with one of the tanks being a buddy store. Guys not needed top off the others then go home. Air spare/refueler. Would also point out the UH-1H in the d/l sevtion is an Aussie gunship, but not sure if still in service. Overall sounds interesting... -

there is an Airbus 310 in the Gen1 section. Hows your skinning skills? also Dels C-130s come originally in RAAF markings. Also might want to look at a light attack version of the PC-9. final suggestion is that if your gonna have Airbus support, might want to use the legacy Hornets. Super Bugs i think are being used more for A2A and deep strike as a F-111 replacement. plus they would have buddy refuel capabilty. -
not the stock. Sovremenny wasn't in service in 79. NF5 on the other hand....... all i can say is Hornets, Harpoons, and high speed low level!
-
well it should be adaptable to SF2 using the old tricks, but that would be for personal use only. I believe YAP doesnt even allow you to post mods on their skins and ini's or we would have seen more here.

How do I create a Dashed line in PS CS3 (NOT dotted)?
daddyairplanes replied to ianh755's topic in Mods & Skinning Discussion
still somewhat time consuming but less than using the eraser, why not get the number of dashes and spacing set written normal then rotate the layer to the desired angle? -

I dont think its that no one gives a damn. To be the one hmfic for this could be alot for one members plate. Perhaps a board of editors, so that the one who has the time can take it, but not the same person all the time.

youtube is also a good place to find tutorials. esp for PS6, but stands to reckon that they would have PS4 as well. -

lots of good advice since i last chimed in. Gimp is good and does do some things better than PS. i prefer it to work on decals, but prefer PS for all but the quickest simplest skin work. something about being able to see the layers themselves rather than the border around the whole pic. as with anything in life it takes time and practice. making the templatesyourself can be done, you might just question your sanity and choice of hobby in the process (i was starting to make very basic panel lines for the C-141, then i discovered Veltro had a template for it). if you can get templates from site or the original creator, by all means do so, it will make your life easier. and as always. its about the work smarter not harder. -

Hey Geary, what are you looking to skin? There are many templates in the SF1 d/l section and given your taste in planes it might be available -

in PS6, it is color range in the select options. the window that opens will allow you to select a couple of colors, but i dont have the time today to set up a screenie and show what i'm talkin about. will try to have something for you tomm morning if no one else demo's before then. -

make a new layer off of your background. then select by color all of the colors you want gone but try not to select any black as this will likely also select your panel lines. it will take time and patience and be a royal pain in the .... when you have the colors gone save the layer as panel lines. more so you don't forget what you have and also save as a psd file so you can do what ever you want later w/o having to reinvent the wheel. for the skinning PS4 will help you more than Gimp, as i have PS6 and Gimp myself. if you still have my email, hit me up there or in PM here if you need more specific help. just remember i dont have home internet so i might be a day or so in replying until i get to school or my inlaws house. -
Unless you are purposely installing to seperate folders you are merged. You have to do abit more than click ok/next to seperate them.

It is a commonly asked question round here so why not had a thread dedicated to the answers? to start anyone know the name for the windscreen frame on the TW Phantoms as well as the LE flaps on the outer wing? but i would hope we can clean up some space by posting all such questions in one thread rather than the millions out there currently. TIA for answers an contributing (by posting the question here)
